Got 2 compartments — should I reappear in Feb 2027 or all 5 subjects? Need advice 17M

Hey everyone, I got 2 compartment subjects in Class 12, and I’m thinking of giving the exams again in February 2027.

Honestly, I’m pretty devastated right now and I don’t really know where to start. I was planning to take a drop year, but definitely not like this.

I want to use this year properly and prepare seriously. Next year, I also want to give IMUCET and try for sponsorship for the Merchant Navy, so getting my Class 12 results sorted is really important for me.

I’m also confused about whether I should only give the 2 compartment exams or reappear for all 5 subjects. I feel like reappearing for all 5 might be the better option, but I’m not sure if that’s actually a smart decision.

Can you guys please guide me on this?

Should I join offline coaching/classes, or study online?

If online, which teachers/resources would you recommend for Physics and Maths?

Should I make notes from scratch again, or use my old notes?

Should I focus only on my 2 compartments or reappear for all 5 subjects?

How should I structure my preparation from now until February?

Has anyone here been in a similar situation and successfully cleared their compartments?

I know I messed up, but I don’t want to waste this year feeling sorry for myself. I genuinely want to get back on track.

Any practical advice would really help. Thanks.

How do I set boundaries with a cousin who only contacts me when she needs something?

I really thought my cousin was going to be my best friend.

When we first met, she was always talking to me. She was actually the one who asked for my Instagram first. I don't usually give my social media to people, especially my cousins, because, honestly, most of them are pretty cringe.

But talking to her felt different. We'd text on Instagram, have long phone calls, and I genuinely thought I'd finally found a cousin I could stay close with for years.

Then she went through a breakup.

After that, almost every conversation was about her ex-boyfriend. I didn't mind because I thought she trusted me, and I wanted to support her.

I even got involved in things I probably shouldn't have. At one point, she asked me to transfer money to her boyfriend. She paid me back later, so that wasn't the issue.

After they broke up, she told me her ex still owed her money and asked me to contact him myself to get it back for her. I wasn't comfortable getting involved in their relationship, but I still did it because I wanted to help.

A few months later, she started dating someone new.

Since then, everything has changed. She rarely replies to my messages, ignores most of the reels I send, and we can go one or two weeks without talking. Before, she'd say she missed me if we didn't talk for a day.

Now the only time she contacts me is when she needs a favour, like ordering a gift for her boyfriend, helping her with payments, or asking me to do something for her. Once I help, the conversation usually ends until she needs something else.

I don't expect us to talk every day, but the change has been pretty noticeable, and I'm starting to feel like I'm putting much more effort into this relationship than she is.

For people who've dealt with something similar, how would you handle this? Would you stop doing favours unless the relationship becomes more balanced, or is there a better way to set boundaries without creating unnecessary family drama?

Why do people only remember you when they need something? (M 19) (F18)

I really thought my cousin was going to be my best friend.

When we first met, she was always talking to me. She was actually the one who asked for my Instagram first. I don't usually give my social media to people, especially my cousins, because, honestly, most of them are pretty cringe.

But talking to her felt different. We would text on Instagram, have long phone calls, and I genuinely thought I'd finally found a cousin I could be close to for life.

After that, almost every conversation was about her ex-boyfriend. I didn't mind because I thought she trusted me enough to share everything, and I wanted to be there for her.

There was a lot of drama too. From what she told me, when she couldn't meet her boyfriend, she started talking to another guy and eventually cheated on him. Her ex also had some of her money, and she asked me to transfer money to him at one point. She paid me back later, so it wasn't a big financial issue.

But it didn't stop there. After they broke up, she asked me to contact her ex myself and ask him to return the money he owed her. I didn't really want to get involved in someone else's relationship, but I still did it because I thought that's what friends—and family—do for each other.

Fast forward two months, and now she has a new boyfriend.

Ever since then, she's become a completely different person. She barely talks to me, ignores half of my messages, doesn't react to my reels anymore, and we can go one or two weeks without a single text or phone call.

The only time she reaches out now is when she needs something. Whether it's ordering a gift for her boyfriend, asking me to help with something, or doing another favour, she suddenly acts like we're really close again. As soon as I help, she disappears until she needs something else.

What confuses me is that before, if we didn't talk for even a day, she'd say she missed me. Now she can go weeks without saying a word, and it doesn't seem to bother her at all.

At this point, I honestly feel like I was only important when I was useful.

Am I overthinking this, or does it sound like she's just using me whenever it's convenient? If you were in my position, would you stop helping her and just let the relationship fade, or would you try talking to her about it?

My first situationship I'm (19M) she was (18F)

I don't know what to do now 😭

I was in a three-month relationship with a girl, and it was long-distance. When we started talking, after about 10 days I found out she liked another guy. I didn’t have a problem with it at the time.

She was introduced to me by my sister. This was my first relationship—I had never really talked to any girl before. I had just finished my 12th, and she is currently in 12th.

At one point, I unfriended her on Instagram because she was ignoring me. But I had already started liking her and kind of missed her. Still, I let her go. After about five days, she sent me a friend request again and apologized. I thought maybe she was the one for me.

After around 2.5 months of talking, she suddenly unfriended me on Snapchat and stopped replying. She ghosted me for two days. At that time, my Instagram was banned. After 4–5 days, she added me back on Snapchat. My board exams were going on then, but we had a full-day conversation.

I asked her for clarity about why she did that. She said her father had gone into depression or something like that. I told her I was there for her and that we could fix things together. I said I would do whatever I could from my side.

But in the end, when I suggested going no contact, she said she didn’t want to leave me and convinced me to stay as her friend. She said she didn’t have any male friends.

I asked my sister what I should do, and she said, “Mere hisaab se toh kuch nahi karna chahiye” (in my opinion, you shouldn’t do anything).

The next day, she didn’t text me at all. So I blocked her.

After about a month, I found out she had started talking to another guy—a known playboy.

We had shared everything—phone calls and all kinds of conversations. She always said, “I’ll never leave you” and “I love you” before ending calls.

But when I heard about her new situationship, my hands started shaking. I felt empty and betrayed. I thought maybe I could fix things over time, but I couldn’t.

I just feel lost.

should I wait for her or never try again for any girl

I thik i tried my best and I can't do better that that and i just give up I never going to try again on any other girl. ☕👍🏼

Edit: She sent me a friend request on Snapchat on her birthday, but by then she had already makeout with that guy, so I just ignored it.

Edit 2: I met her on June 20 at my sister's house. We both stayed in the lounge for about 30–35 minutes without saying a single word to each other. She was sitting only 2–3 feet away from me. When I saw her, my hands started shaking, and I couldn't control them. As she was leaving, she waved goodbye to me.

My sister has her Instagram ID. When my sister told her that I was at her place, she said, "I'm so excited."

Her new boyfriend also seemed very jealous. I don't think he knows about me or about our situationship. He told her, "Meet him," because he has access to her Instagram. If that's true, then she was also being dishonest with her new boyfriend, which is pretty stupid. 🤣🤣

Relationship Problem Due to Caste Difference (my age was 19m) (sister is 18f) and her boyfriend was 18m

My younger sister (12th grade) is in a relationship with a boy who is also in 12th grade. They've been together for about 3 months and genuinely care about each other.

The issue is caste. My sister belongs to a Scheduled Caste , while the boy is Jaat. The boy's family, especially his father, is quite strict about caste. When the boy asked her caste, she got nervous and, in the moment, told him she was Rajput. It was a one-time lie because she was scared of being judged and didn't want to lose someone she had feelings for.

Now she feels guilty and wants to tell him the truth, but she's afraid he'll leave her because he is somewhat caste-conscious himself. Her current plan is to wait until after 12th grade to tell him.

What would be the best thing to do in this situation? Should she tell him sooner, or wait? Has anyone been through something similar involving caste differences and fear of rejection?
