Two things stuck out to me with my ‘26 Hybrid ST on a 4-hour mini-roadtrip

I recently drove from OKC to Dallas in my new Civic.

- Lane Keep/Adaptive Cruise. These features made my trip so much more comfortable, wow. There were several miles on the trip that were safe enough for me to lightly press my leg against the bottom of the steering wheel (to avoid the steer warning) and drive hands and feet free. Obviously, I was fully engaged and paying attention the whole time, and didn’t do it in heavy traffic, but man. Very cool.

- Econ vs Sport. Over my first 2000 miles (90% city/10% hwy), I noticed little to no difference between drive modes in regards to MPG. This roadtrip was different though. On the trip down, I was driving between 70-85mph in Econ mode. I averaged 48mpg. On the way back I drove between 70-85mph in Sport mode and averaged only 36mpg. Anyone else had this experience with higher speeds exposing more mpg differences in different driving modes?

Two questions from a relatively new CPAP user.

I have been on CPAP almost 1.5 years and it’s been amazing for me. I am now trying to fine-tune my therapy. Just for some background, I average around a 4-5 for AHI with a 15-20L/min leak rate.

Here are my questions:

- I wear the Resmed p10 (nasal pillows). Any tips for minimizing leak? Hitting 20L/min often, I am currently at the upper limit for leak rate (for effective therapy).

- I’ve been wanting to try the whole Oscar thing, but it looks intimidating. I’m 50 and feel comfortable with technology, but it still looks scary lol. My question is, with an AHI of 4-5, would using Oscar be worth it for me? Has it helped anyone else here in a similar situation?

I greatly appreciate any insights.

For me it’s parking sensors and walk-away lock (Sport Touring Hybrid). I’m a simple man that came from a 2013 Dodge Dart base trim lol. I use the parking sensors all of the time pulling into our cluttered garage as well as at work where I park in a parking garage and no longer have to guess how far to pull up. The walk-away lock is so convenient. My keys/fob never leave my pocket. It’s the little things!

For me, I think it was a Jetta GLI with the Prius coming in 3rd. I realize the GLI and the Civic Sport Touring (my car) are very different in so many ways, but they are similarly priced sedans. The GLI has more torque and hp, decent fuel economy and looks sharp. I actually never test drove the GLI and I honestly didn’t know it existed until after I purchased my car. No buyers remorse for me though as the Civic has better resale value, reliability, fuel economy, etc. which is all more than enough for me to feel great about my choice. LOVE my car, but I do play “what if?” with the GLI and a little less, with the Prius.
