I saw her in Detroit a couple months ago 20 mins from my house. Since then I’ve been listening to her new songs a whole lot more. I saw she’s passing by Ohio in a few weeks 2.5 hours away and I’ve decided I’m gonna take the drive to see her again haha. I just feel like it’ll be an even better experience now that I better know the songs.

I’ve had my cat for years and she’s always been inconsistent with the litter box. I used to have more people living here so it was easy to tag team handling it. I‘ve lived alone for a little awhile now and I’ve tried to put more effort into tackling the issue. The vet couldn’t find any health problems so I’ve went down the list of different things to try. Whats frustrating is everything HAS worked, but then 2-3 weeks will pass and she will randomly decide it’s just not doing it for her anymore and go back to pooping/peeing on the floor outside the box.

First, I tried more litter boxes. It fixed the issue, but then weeks later she stopped caring. So then I get a Litter Robot 4, which drastically fixed the issue, until 1-2 months later she decides it’s not doing it for her anymore. So then I get a SECOND litter robot. It fixes the issue for another month, and then eventually she once again stops. So then I try using attractant litter, which works until it doesn’t. I take her back to another vet for a second opinion, they suggest meds for her behavior and anxiety. The meds work… until they don’t.

You get the idea… I have now reached the point to where I feel like I’ve genuinely tried all that I can. The more I accommodate the higher she raises the bar. It just baffles me that she recognizes the improvements that I’m providing but it feels like she just gets bored. It’s silly to say but it almost feels like she’s doing it on purpose like it’s some kind of back and forth game. It’s so confusing because she proves to me time and time again that she has what it takes to properly use the box so why does she always give up after a few weeks?!? Is this just the way that she is and I have to just deal with it? I feel like I’ve run out of “Upgrades” so now I can’t even enjoy the few week breaks since the bar has been raised so high now and anything less is below her standards.

I’m at my wits end. I’ve had my cat for years and she has the habit of pooping on the floor outside the box and peeing wherever she wants. I’ve tried countless things to fix the problem, and every single thing DOES fix it, but then she gets bored of the fix and goes back to it within a few weeks. I use more boxes, she starts using them until one day she decides she’s bored and pretends like the new box doesn’t exist anymore. So then I change to a new litter. She loves the new litter, until weeks later she decides that she doesn’t anymore I get automatic litter boxes so she has a cleaner box. She loves it, until she doesnt. I take her to the vet and they put her on behavior meds. The meds help, until one day they just don’t anymore. I deep clean the boxes more often which helps, but then she sets the bar higher and the cleaning means nothing anymore. I literally don’t know what to do anymore. It’s like no matter what I do to accommodate for this cat all she does in response is raise her standards. I’m so tired of picking up poop off the floor and cleaning piss out of my laundry.

I’ve gone through all the motions this week. Plugged nostrils, sore throat, swollen uvula, nonstop sneezing and coughing, etc. And I am so fucking grateful that it’s going to perfectly pass as EF starts. This would’ve SUCKED if it hit me one week later. I’m going to have so much immunity going into this lmao.

I have Cigna insurance for $5 a week as a seasonal. I’ve already hit my deductible a couple months ago due to some expensive treatment. They’re converting a lot of people into blue badges right now that were hired weeks before me. If I become a blue badge, should I switch over to the better insurance plan right away, or wait until the next enrollment period at the end of the year and take advantage of the fact that my deductible is already hit with Cigna?

It takes like 4-5 days for the waste bin to fill up. Sometimes there’s shit on the floor outside the box which I think is one of my cats being impatient when it’s cycling. It’s very alarming when I check at 7pm and see that the last time it has cycled was at 7am this morning. I’m worried that they have some secret spot where they’re pissing and shitting but I can’t find any trace of that apart from them every once n awhile pissing on a clothes pile and shitting outside the box.
