QR - Qatar Airways Recruitment Day

What is the typical timeline between the job posting and the actual recruitment day? Has anybody attended one? How long after you applied online were you invited? Thanks!

Cabin Crew at flydubai

Hi, I have a few questions:

1- What is the typical timeline between a job posting and the actual recruitment event?

2- Is the assessment centre all in 1 day? On a weekday or also on a Saturday/Sunday?

3- Is it realistic to do this job without a car?

4- Are flight benefits also on partner airlines or only flydubai/Emirates?

Thanks

Housing, looking for advice

Hi,

I'm moving to Budapest soon for a job, my salary will be 460k HUF net/month, rising to 550k HUF net/month after a few months.

I'm a single 28 yo guy, how much do you suggest spending on rent? Would 170k HUF be a reasonable amount? What can be found for that price?

I will not have a car and would like to easily get to the city centre.

I would like to have a small place all for myself but am afraid it would cost me half my salary, so I was wondering if I should give up on the idea of living alone and find 1 or 2 flatmates to share a 2 or 3-bedroom apartment with.

I prioritise a modern place over size.

Also any suggestions on districts? My job will be near Déli pu.

Thanks

Applying for cabin crew while waiting to start ground job?

Hi, I recently got hired for a ground job at Emirates in Europe (where I'm from, different country though) starting in October.

I'm currently not working so I don't have a notice period.

In September I can reapply for cabin crew at Emirates, Etihad, and Qatar, and would love to do so because my priority is flying and this ground job is my backup option.

Can I safely apply both to the airline I'm going to start working for the following month (Emirates, with contract already signed) and to Etihad and Qatar to maximize my chances?

Can this backfire? Will this burn bridges or interfere with my job starting in October?

I'm so lost and would really appreciate some guidance!

How digital is life in Hungary when it comes to administration and payments?

Hi, I wanted to ask a few questions:

1- Is cash still king in Hungary (in Budapest to be exact)?

2- Is there a digital ID to access government websites and services?

3- Is there a service to receive mail from the government digitally?

Thank you

Moving to Hungary checklist

Hi, I should move to Budapest in a couple of months and would like to know all I need to do after I arrive, mainly bureaucracy wise but any advice is really appreciated!

My company doesn't offer any relocation support so I need to sort everything by myself and would like to be well prepared for this move!

I'm moving to work for an international company, am an EU citizen and am moving alone, I don't speak Hungarian

Customer Service Roles in Dubai in 2026

Hi, if anyone has gone through the process I'd like to ask a few questions:

1- Does Emirates sponsor your visa for these roles?

2- Can you decide if you want to apply to check-in agent vs contact center?

3- Does Emirates provide housing and transportation to the airport (or contact center) for these roles like they do for cabin crew?

4- Are all flight benefits accessible right after joining?

5- Is it realistic to become cabin crew at EK after this job? Would this job help in getting hired later?

Thanks!
