What bass bone should I get

Shires q36
Getzen 3062 afr
Yamaha ybl830

I mainly play on small or medium bores so I’m not sure what would be the best for sound or how well they play

What are your guys opinions on shires q30

So I just got a q30 for 450$ pretty good deal
And they guy said he just wanted to get rid of it because it’s been sitting in his garage collecting dust and I wanted this because I have like 6 jazz trombones and no concert horn what are your guys opinions like what is good about them and what’s bad?

What are you guys favorite engraving?

Mine has to be from the 20s-60s my all time favorite is the olds recording Los Angeles but I also love the Martin imperial handcraft and king 2b

If you have pics of them share them

What is your guys collection looking like

Some of play some of them I inherited but don’t work but all of the brass I play but the sax because it’s fried

There is a random Chinese violin my mom got for 50$
My dad’s guitars the wabash need new springs and the harmony needs new nut
The sax is a c melody and it’s trashed so can’t play it
The trombones are a Martin imperial handcraft which is my favorite king 2b liberty and a Yamaha 421g and I have more trombones but they are at some friends houses and they are a holton 65 and a Eastman 221 and a olds recording Los Angeles but selling it so I can get a olds recording f attachment
The trumpets are a holton revelation and a king liberty model and my favorite the conn 22b

Thoughts on olds recording Los Angeles

Just bought this beautiful olds recording for 347$ on OfferUp on a pawn shop page I was on call with then and I said how well dose the slide move and they didn’t know what that was lol same thing happened when I got a king 2b for 160$ lol. I will probably sell it to get a one with a f attachment but it’s going to a wile before one comes up so in the meantime I’ll do jazz combos with it

What are your guys thoughts on it

Why dose olds recording have different engravings

I’m guessing it’s just different engraving styles they can choose from or it just changed throughout it’s production line

What later recording models sound the same

Been wanting a recording f for a while now but ik olds slowly degraded over the years and became stencil instruments and wondering if they are still as good as the Los Angeles era or at least close for sound quality

Anybody like making the emblem on old cases into pins or something similar

I love small bore tenors so most of my trombones are 1940-60 and sometimes the case can be in the worst condition you’ll ever find it so you have to get a replacement but before throwing them away, I like to collect the emblems and make them into pins.
