22M, single in Bengaluru. What am I doing wrong?

I’m 22M and currently living in Bengaluru. In school, I never really cared about dating. In college, I didn’t find anyone I genuinely liked. Now I’ve been working here for the last 6 months, but my startup is all male 😭

I seriously don’t know what to do. I’m single, new-ish to Bengaluru, and I feel stuck. Where do people even meet someone nowadays? Am I doing something wrong, or is this normal?

Concerned that is vibe coding seriously a new normal

I joined a startup 2 days ago as a fresher, and I’ve noticed that almost everything here is vibe-coded/AI-generated. I honestly hate this approach because I’m worried I won’t actually learn proper development.

Is this normal in startups now, or should I be concerned about my growth?

22M, never been in a relationship, parents are already thinking about arranged marriage 🤡. Need advice.

22M, never been in a relationship, parents are already thinking about arranged marriage 🤡. Need advice.

I'm 22, just finished engineering from a tier-3 college but managed to land a job in this market 💪, which honestly took a lot out of me. Sacrificed a lot of fun and social life to get here 😔.

Today I overheard my parents casually discussing a marriage proposal from my dad's colleague 💀. My mom seemed excited about it 🥲. I'm not even close to ready for this.

I'm completely against arranged marriage personally. I want to actually date someone, get to know them, and build something real ❤️. I've never even been on Instagram or dating apps 😭, so my social life is basically zero right now.

I want a partner who is independent and career-oriented 💼, not just someone picked by family.

I'm planning to get on dating apps now and start putting myself out there 📱, but I have zero experience.

For guys who started late, how did you handle the family situation while also trying to build your own love life? 🙏 Any genuine advice appreciated.

22M in Bangalore, never dated or approached girls – how do I start? Advice needed

I’m 22M, settled with a good job and decent salary here in Bangalore. Never dated anyone, barely talked to girls growing up, so I have zero experience. Now that I’m stable I actually want to put myself out there and meet someone, but the biggest issue is I completely freeze when it comes to initiating conversation or approaching anyone. Once the talk starts I’m fine and can hold a normal conversation with anyone.

Any practical advice on how to get over this initiation barrier? Apps, places in Bangalore, ways to practice, or just general mindset tips?

Also, are there girls in a similar situation (22-25, never dated much, also shy)? And how do girls generally perceive a guy like me – someone who’s quiet/shy but stable and doing well?

Would really appreciate honest replies. Thanks!

Why can't I feel happy or excited even after getting a 20 LPA job as a fresher?

I just landed a 20 LPA offer from a tier 3 college — something I dreamed of. But I feel completely empty. No happiness, no excitement.

Nothing brings me joy anymore. If I buy the S26 Ultra I've always wanted, I’d just think “it’s just a phone.” Even the thought of marrying my girlfriend feels like “just a relationship.” The sense of true happiness has disappeared from my life.

On the flip side, I’m extremely sensitive to criticism. Scolding or negative feedback affects me much more than any praise or appreciation.

Why am I like this? Has anyone else experienced this emotional numbness despite achieving big goals? Need advice.

Fresher from Bihar to Bangaluru– Safety advice needed (paid well)

Hi,

I’m a fresher who recently moved from Bihar to Bengaluru. Salary is good, so not looking for that. I just want to stay safe and avoid trouble.

What should a newcomer be cautious about? Areas to avoid, common scams, traffic, rentals, etc.?

Is there any discrimination or language issues against people from Bihar/North India? How real is it and how to handle it?

Any practical tips for staying safe while settling in?

Thanks!
