In case u wondering Gamesir released these all in 1 year:

• G7 Pro base controller: 6 colours and 2 collabs and a collab with Yakuza: Like a dragon
• G7 pro 8k controller: 2 colours and 4 collabs and a collab with phantom blade zero
• G7 pro xbox wireless version: 2

There are some more that are china exclusive that i have not added here.

I would choose the Blue pill because of the following reasons:

• I like tarantula series shape.
• Tarantula ultra will be wireless for pc. ( The only reason keeping me away from getting Tarantula Pro for XBOX controller )
• It will have a charging dock.
• It will have gyro by Input Labs so that would be amazing.
• Tarantula series have the coolest extra bumper buttons i have ever seen in a controller.

So which pill you would choose and why?

Disclosure: I participated in a giveaway in EasySMX sub where we had to submit designs for controllers, i could not win that giveaway but they liked my design and decided to award me a free Dune 8k which is a nice gesture form EasySMX. Even tho i got it for free but this is my honest and unbiased review for Dune 8k.

So lets start the review:

Unboxing:

EasySMX dune come in a pretty good packaging. It has a magnetic flap box which feels satisfying to close. The box itself is made up of good material that feels premium and gives a good impression. Inside the box we get:

• EasySMX Dune 8k
• Charging Dock
• 2x Faceplates ( Gold, Black )
• 2x D pad ( 4 way, 8 way )
• 2x Pairs of swappable thumbstick caps ( normal sized, taller )
• 2.4 GHz dongle
• Gold and black themed braided type C to type A cable
• User manual

Material and Design:

EasySMX dune body is made up of good quality plastic that does not feel cheap. Triggers, Bumpers and both extra buttons have kind of a bumpy surface on them which feels good to press them.

The design looked a bit weird in pics a saw before receiving mine but trust me, in person it looks so good and beautiful. Its a unique design for a controller.

Comfort & Ergonomics:

Controller might look uncomfortable in pics but its the most comfortable controller i ever had in my hands. It has good quality rubber on grips which feels good to use in long term gaming sessions.

TMR sticks:

It features TMR sticks which performs good and has a good response time. I played Tekken 8 with it and due to less response time, i was able to score 9-1 to my brother.

D pad and Face buttons:

D pad and Face buttons are micro switch buttons which are satisfying to click each time. They are loud and are responsive.

Extra buttons:

Dune has 2 extra back buttons and 2 extra bumper buttons. Both back buttons are placed s a good location. When i hold the controller, my fingers automatically sits on back buttons.

8k Polling Rate:

Dune has 8000 Hz polling rate. Even tho i mostly play story games and sometimes fps games, i tried 8k feature and it was surprisingly amazing experience for me.

Triggers:

I love the shape of triggers in dune. They are shaped like a real gun trigger. There is a latch for both triggers to make them long travel for racing games or micro switch for shooting games.

Built in screen:

Now this is the part i love about EasySMX Dune. It got a small display on it for settings, EasySMX skipped desktop app for it and put it whole software inside the controller. You can switch between different modes, turn on/off gyro, vibrations, select deadzones for triggers and joysticks, calibrate and much more. Honestly, screen is really helpful in Dune.

Charging Dock and RGB:

The charging dock for Dune looks like a mini UFO and it looks so cute sitting on desk.

I am against RGB in controllers but Dune RGB is so beautiful. You can change different color with the screen.

Battery and Vibrations:

Battery timing is also good in Dune. Vibrations also increases gameplay experience. U can also see its grip motors through transparent plastic used in grips for RGB.

Features I wish Dune had:

• Back buttons lock latch cuz this was my first controller with back buttons and i was accidentally pressing them alot of time.
• Ability to put a gif or pic in screen.
• Face buttons a bit above from controller shell.

So, at last i would say if i get 100 dollars and asked to get a controller then i will definitely buy EasySMX Dune 8k.

The guy who is the reason that Gamesir is so loved today is i would say its CEO Betta Core.

He is the coolest guy in my opinion because:

• Became CEO of Gamesir at just the age of 18.
• He is the guy behind our beloved Gamesir g7 se and under his leadership, we got amazing controllers like g7 pro, cyclone 2 and many more.
• Made a cool project in his high school which we now know as "Swift drive" ( Swift Drive )
• He is pretty good at playing multiplayer games also. ( His gameplay )
• Overall his personality is also so cool.

Here are some of the things i loved under this leadership:

• Value to money products: The guy himself is a gamer so he knows what gamers want. We got controllers from Gamesir that are pretty value to money and have amazing features in a very good price also.
• Durability and Longevity: Every Gamesir controller u would see today in market will have Hall Effect or TMR Sticks whether its a cheapest Gamesir controller like Tegenaria Lite or high end controller like g7 pro zzz. Their build quality is also good so they will last u a long time with no need to upgrade.
• Gamesir community: This is my favorite one. The Gamesir communites on reddit and discord are like the best communities a company could have. U can just tell your issues and people will help you and guide you without needing to go to support which also reduces workload for Gamesir customer support.
• Gamesir customer support: I only like two companies customer support in the gaming companies one is Gamesir and the other one is steam. Both have amazing customer support. I have seen Gamesir customer support sending brand new controllers to people who have issues in thier previous one's and no need to ship faulty one's back which is pretty amazing because it save's time of people to go to shipping companies office, fill forms and wait for the faulty unit to arrive to Gamesir and then again wait for the new unit to ship back.
• Gamesir staff: We got pretty amazing people in their staff also like our beloved Allan, Robin and alot of amazing people. You will see them chatting with gamers in Gamesir discord servers so i would say Gamesir staff is different than those boring staff members of other companies.

I don't know if this post will reach Betta Core or not but if someone can or somehow this post reaches to him, i have a msg for him:

I would go first.

I think i would go with G7 Pro 8k Royal2 because it has all the features i would need to game my entire life. It is wireless, has rumble, gyro, 2 back buttons which are more than enough for me and overall the design of the controller is also very beautiful. Plus its a Gamesir controller so u know it never gonna have stick drift.

Note: Some of the controllers like tarantula xbox edition isn't listed beacuse of the space problem, so u can also choose controller that u like which are not in the list but it must be from Gamesir.

So which controller are u going to choose?

So i just came to know about this controller by Gamesir that has a force feedback wheel in it. Now i would say the idea is pretty amazing. A force feedback mini wheel in your hands in wonderful idea.

Another thing to me that is pretty amazing is that this was the highschool project of gamesir CEO BetaCore. ( A post by BetaCore about TR640 (Swiftdrive) )

Some of the things i wanna talk about are:

• User Platform:

1. PC: TR640 is gonna be pc compatible. Now when we talk about pc gamers, most of the time they play racing games infront of the table on which their moniter is placed n Pc gamers use controllers for racing games mostly for haptics and easy handling ( i mean that is my reason for using a controller for racing games ). For $200 i dont see anyone getting TR640 where they can get a force feedback wheel with paddles and a shifter.
2. Xbox: Now, most of the xbox gamers play games on their couch on a big screen. I think TR640 is mostly gonna be purchased by xbox gamers who want plug n play. I read a article about TR640 and it was written that it gonna be xbox compatible but it gonna be a bit latter but hey its a good news that it can be used on xbox.

• Comfortability: idk but it looks super uncomfortable. I placed a cap of a jam jar on my controller and tried rotating it with a bit force with my thumbs and trust be it was not comfortable for even a minute. idk how someone gonna even use it for even 1 hr.
• Price: Now this is the most important to me. The price for TR640 is $200 and its up for pre-order. The concept of the controller is amazing but i think price is a bit high. Because when we look at the market one can get proper wheels for casual users like Thrustmaster T128, pxn v99/v10 and many more. In my opinion if pc gamers are given $200 then they would rather buy one of the force feedback wheels i mentioned instead of TR640 as their first wheel.

Who would buy it: I think most of the people who would buy it are gonna be people who are console peeps, who collect controllers, racing games lovers who already have high end sim racing setups n tech enthusiasts.

My suggestions to gamesir about TR640:

1. Lower the price a bit.
2. Make it xbox compatible on launch and advertise it more as a controller for xbox people.
3. Make it super comfortable by adding two vertical kinda small sticks on wheel that help in better gripping.

This all is just my perspective on TR640. No hate on this amazing piece of tech and i hope gamesir take this positive.
