My complete horror slasher collection
Here it is, my complete horror collection.
Admittedly I hope that the recent announcement of the ULTRAMATE line doesn’t complicate what I have now too badly.

Here it is, my complete horror collection.
Admittedly I hope that the recent announcement of the ULTRAMATE line doesn’t complicate what I have now too badly.
I collect mainly NECA figures and SH Monsterarts.
3 years ago I got a Chucky figure from NECA. Then slowly over the course of these years I’ve got one horror slasher her and there. It was around last year when Blood Soaked Art came out that my drive got more intense.
Today I got this Ghostface figure which was the last horror slasher I sought out. Basically the way my display is set up is that I get what I consider the best available variant or look of said horror slasher and add them. I got them in order of oldest to recent. I do have some extras of some characters, mainly Art the clown, and Pennywise but I have those figures placed elsewhere. Even now I still have plans to get the future Art the clown figures but mainly for the accessories or extra faces.
Then there’s Chucky. He’s the only horror character where I decided to get every figure possible. The main reasoning is that within the Chucky franchise he does canonically have multiple doll variants at a single time. Also since he’s a smaller figure I guess it felt pretty appealing to build up an army. It’s a little trickier but I do try to have them in order of earliest appearance to latest. The front row is the Ultimate figures while the middle row is entirely the blind box figures.
There’s already news that there will be a third blind box series with 8 figures. So I’m just gonna keep grabbing Chucky figures and seeing how long I can go before I run out of room. At that point I might keep collecting Chucky’s but just have to keep the excess in a separate display or store then somewhere else and rotate the ones I decide to have out on display.
So this is a very monumental moment for me. I’ve been waiting so long for this. I just needed the classic Ghostface robe, so I passed on the Inferno figure. Overall my impressions are pretty great. Decent set of hands. The call me hands are more comedic but they still fit in character for an evil Ghostface killer.
It sure is funny how this is technically a parody figure and homage to Batman returns cause for like a traditional Ghostface figure I’d say this is the best option. Takes Manhattan also fits but that’s not something you can easily get.
I also appreciate that he’s slim cause I didn’t have a hard time fitting him in with the rest of the slasher lineup.
At this point my primary display I’ve been working on is finally done. I might get extra figures in the future like Santa Ghostface, the future Art the clown figures, or anything exciting but those figures will be placed elsewhere.
For now the only figure I intend to add to this lineup will be the Pale Girl but I’m gonna wait for the bloody two pack.
I’ll also keep collecting Chucky figures as long as I’m able to fit them. Though eventually if I run out of room to functionally pose them I might try to make a separate display for just the Chucky figures exclusively, or at least the extra ones I’m unable to fit in my main closet.
It’s crazy how initially I started with the Chucky ultimate, then got a Jason, a Michael. Then an Art, Freddy, Leatherface. By then I thought that would be the end but I just kept going.
Though I’d say I’m like 100% done and everything else is just a bonus.
It’s a very nice looking figure. Great span of accessories. The one annoying thing is how all his faces are side eyes.
The tree glasses would be a good work around for this. Except I screwed up and broke mine. So now I have an additional reason to get the Clean variant besides the Santa mask that one comes with.
I don’t really get repeats of characters. The way I do it is I’ll just get whichever figure I find to be the best variant available of said character. Sometimes I’ll get extras if I really want the accessories so like Terrifier 2 Art I got for the table leg, horn, hammer, and mangled face. I’ll even get the bloody two pack mainly for the Pale Girl and other weapons like the Tommy gun, glasses, flamethrower.
Though this is the one. Time I 100% wanted the whole figure. I won’t have him on my main display but I’m glad to have the figure around my room.
I’ve even made room for the figure too. I’ve been waiting a long time for this. Ghostface inferno is a decent looking figure but I wanted Returns for the full robe.
I ordered it for delivery first, it was unavailable, but then I got a shipping option. So hopefully there’s no more hiccups.
With that my main horror slasher setup will be complete.
It really did live up to the hype. It’s tense almost the whole way through. This is the most tense I’ve felt watching a movie in a long time. Whenever Nikki is offscreen I get worried about her showing abruptly up and doing something
Then when she killed Sarah that was really shocking and it really stings. It’s made very clear Sarah likes Bear genuinely and then the burn that she got accepted into college.
There’s some instances here and there that show Bear as being truly selfish. He never opens up about the one wish willow until the end. Even in Sarah’s final moments he never brings it up. There’s also a small sense of cruelty like when he questions Real Nikki about what would be so bad about being with him.
Nikki is free by the end but even then that’s a tragedy because she killed all her friends and will probably be held in trial for the murders.
The party scene was a huge highlight and the best example of an uncomfortable scene without steering into the wrong direction.
There’s some humor sprinkled and well done. One detail I like is it’s kind of made clear that the one wish Willow isn’t an automatic bad thing.
The shop employee at the end used one and seems really content
Then when Ian wished for a billion dollars he actually got it. When that happened I was almost certain it was gonna all drop at once and crush him to death, but he legitimately got it.
Even in the fake Reddit I saw one post about someone’s mom wishing to be beautiful.
So basically there’s a chance for it to work well. I’d probably wish to have Goku powers, or for a more recent matter bring back Chainsaw Man and have it end in a satisfying way.
Not sure how helpful it’ll be since in my experience it’s usually a new item so it’s not really registered in the system.
But sometimes I’ve seen it work out for people.
This is extremely huge news to me. I was hoping for exactly this to happen.
I hated how on the NECA sight the figure has a Q3 release. So now there’s hope that I could run into the figure at a Walmart.
Ghostface was the last major horror slasher I didn’t have a figure of yet. I waited for the returns version for the robe since it doesn’t have a split like Inferno.
So I got more women on my island than men at the moment. So I’ll add a male character next to balance things. I’m thinking among the 3.
Captain Hero is the one I want to add most as a character but it might be harder since his hair style doesn’t exist as far as I can tell. Thragg would be easier but I might want to wait until I can get a stylus to make his Viltrumite uniform. Though that technically applies to all of them. Soldier Boy is another option and I can probably make him good friends with Uncle Ruckus.
I’m thinking about going with his new haircut. I’m new to the game. I don’t got a stylus so drawing with the joystick is kind of a nightmare unless I go one pixel at a time. I feel like Garou should be easier since he’s a drawn character.
I just don’t got it all figured out or am too used to knowing the right pieces immediately. There’s even some aspects of the customization I’m still learning. Also the unfortunate part is there’s like a wolverine hairstyle that pretty much works for Garous trademark hair but not quite for his current hair.
When I was a little kid I did have Super Mario Galaxy on the Wii. But I never got far. I was young enough to where it might’ve been hard and so I dropped it in favor of other games and never got around to really progressing meaningfully.
So all these years later I got the 1+2 bundle for the switch. For roughly half of April up to now I’ve been playing the first game. Now I finally got all 120 stars, and can play as Luigi. For now I won’t go through beating the game again as Luigi. I’ll save that for later. In the meantime I want to start playing Tomodachi Life. Then long after that I think I’ll play Super Mario Galaxy 2 for the first time ever. I probably won’t go down the Luigi path for a very long while.
Overall I liked the game and was glad to finally be able to enjoy it to the fullest. Hardest Star is probably the fire spore daredevil run. But at least most of the hard stars are still fun to do, so that helps.
Even now I’ve put in more hours into this game than almost every other game I have on the switch. But if I play as Luigi then this game will absolutely take that top spot. What I like is this feels very worthy of replaying years down the road and I can just pick it up casually at any time.
One minor down side is it would’ve been nice if there was more opportunities or instances of the red Star.
Overall I foresee myself spending more hours on Nintendo than I have in a longtime this year.
Not that I progressed much in this game when I had it for the Wii but with SMG2 that’s entirely fresh in every metric so it’s gonna be great to see how that is.
I don’t know anything about JJK, like the analysis of Gojo vs Makima is the complete extent of what I know. So cant truthfully say who wins.
I understand why this was a big matchup that’s been requested. As time passed I’ve come to view the chainsaw man ending with much disappointment. Reze felt like salt in the wound. This might too. Imagine if Denji dies and it’s a homage to that bug demon blitzing him.
