Hi everyone! Today I'm writing a request for the hundred line last defense academy, a sort of visual novel/tactical game released early last year.

I'm a university student, so money is pretty tight for me at the moment, however I've been dying to play it at some point, however there's always been a big issue.

The game rarely goes on sale, and when it does, unfortunately it's still pretty expensive at over 40€ still, supposedly because the devs really poured their all into the game risking bankruptcy and so they haven't yet discounted it willy nilly like the danganronpa series.

Speaking of, the reason I've wanted to play the game since it got announced summer of 2024 is because I'm a huge fan of danganronpa, and i played all three games (and their postgame life sim mode, and also the board game for the third game) extensively on my switch.

Proof: https://imgur.com/a/Rvd4tBR

I'd love to get my hands on it, so hoping good luck is on my side🤞 I've loved games structured like this in the past, like 13 sentinels aegis rim, so i know for sure that with kodaka's pen all over the game, I'd love it.

Thank you for reading, and good luck to everyone else's posts

Is it normal to be ass?

So I've just unlocked the third area of the game and was wondering at what point i should seriously think about upping my skill. I've seen a couple videos on how to use my weapon, the long sword, but in an actual fight i can never actually put in practice the shorter combos with the little swipe that repositions the character and the parry is completely out of the question. I mostly just default to spamming the normal combo and hope to hit the final roundslash but most of the times i get smacked around and it makes combat feel really heavy, drawn out and boring.

But the training area is useless outside of getting some muscle memory since the target is stationary. What should i do? Is there a better sword like weapon that's faster and requires less commitment for attacks? Cause i really don't know how I'm supposed to put in practice all these tips especially when enemies fly around and keep moving at insane paces compared to the slow and clunky player movement

Kageyama will perform shortly

I think it's supposed to be in an hour? I wonder if the people at the venue are gonna see character arts in the background while he sings kinda like how legends does it.

Gdc banners are about to be horrendous

If we take into consideration last year's banners, and include the fact that they're gonna be missing the current dokkanfest anniversary characters (STR daima goku and INT ssj4s), while also dialing every character seen in last year's banner to one year later (instead of 9th anni lrs, there's gonna be the 10th year instead, etc..), these are about to be atrocious.

DO KEEP IN MIND that while some of the characters that are gonna be featured could be "fringe" right now (STR Rosé and zamasu, PHY Omega, 10th year fusions, 2024 worldwide characters) they're almost assuredly gonna be garbage in the new fights that are gonna be the new meta for this gdc and the current months.

They're probably gonna have to bring back the golden week characters to make up for the lack of annivesary dokkanfest, however there's a strong chance they'll also bring back either TEQ kaioken and INT hit or straight up glorio and mini daima goku which at this point are beyond fodder.

What do y'all think about this year's downgrade of banners? The advice "only summon on big celebrations" has been pretty horrendous in 2026 when anniversary banners like daima vegeta's were trash and monthly TURs like dabura had godly banners.

Is slightly lower raw damage better than slightly higher damage with an element?

I'm upgrading my long sword, i have to choose between a hard bone shotel I with 429 attack or blazing shotel I with 462 attack, -20% affinity and 150 fire damage. What's best generally? Maybe the fire damage could be annoying to have against monsters that resist it?

Rates are not 2%. Here's data.

As you can see from the screenshots, I've done exactly 40 rerolls. In the very first one, i kept playing until i did 3 multisummons. In every single other one, i only did two. In the last 10 or so i also did one single summon, but I'll be cheritable and won't include it.

I've NEVER gotten jotaro. Not even once.

The probability of this happening should be 0.00000782% if i still remember how to do probability calcs, however it could be off by a zero. Doesn't matter.

I highly doubt I've gotten so astronomically unlucky. I think it's very likely that jotaro doesn't have his actual 2% pull rate until you reach a certain amount of summons, making it not a "soft pity" but requiring you to reach a certain amount of summons to even get to the marketed summon chance to begin with.

Is this not incredibly illegal, especially in a lot of asian countries?

Has anyone gotten Jotaro within the first 20 pulls?

I've been rerolling since launch day, currently at around 40 rerolls (yes, 40) and i haven't gotten him once. I find it very suspicious that I've never hit that 2% chance even once.

Jobin higashitaka has one of the biggest character glowups in the series

I do gotta say i'm not done with jojolion, I'm at chapter 89 which is just after jobin takes out ojiro and that other woman that hates the higashikata family. But i feel like he's so much better here than when he was introduced. The stag beetle fight was great and all but the primary role he's taken in this latter part of the manga really makes me like him even more. At the start he seemed like one of those 1 arc and done characters like daiya or even joshu to an extent, but he's the real deal. What a sick design as well. Kinda like valentine, no one can say he's truly wrong in his ambitions.

is a complex stand ability better or worse, for YOU?

i was discussing with some friends about the "final boss" like stands and we ultimately all agreed that having an incredible power that's difficult and convoluted to even explain is far superior to the "middle of the part" type stands that the "normal" users have. i was wondering if the general consensus in the community was similar? obviously there can be exceptions, with za warudo being the most popular stand yet its actual functionality, while broken, is pretty basic.

what exactly does this game want out of me?

i'm playing through the early game of mh world, i just got to the first 3 star mission and i've been doing some of the investigations, i did one exploration to do some of those fetch quests. however, this first 3 star mission, i've failed. i ran out of time because the chicken just wouldn't spawn, so i decided to wait instead of just immediately killing a jagras, which made it so when the time ran out, the chicken was enraged and not dead (i was probably really close?).

my main question is: what's the best playstile to adopt? super aggressive slamming dick against the monsters, or the contrary? and whenever there's a story mission, is it smart to explore at all or should i just try and do what the objective is and just explore during the "explorations" that have no time limit?

[REQUEST][STEAM][Beast of Reincarnation][4th attempt]

https://store.steampowered.com/app/2001760/Beast\_of\_Reincarnation/

hey everyone! wanted to try my luck with beast of reincarnation, the latest game freak game that came out now a couple days ago. the reception to it seems mixed, but even the brighter game freak games during the ds era weren't exactly critically acclaimed, so i would still love to experience it and formulate an opinion for myself.

this is my profile:

https://steamcommunity.com/id/mario2552/

i know it's technically slightly cheaper than a normal AAA game, but i still can't afford these "full price" games as a uni student (italy, 2nd year).

i would love to get my hands on this game freak title because it feels tailor made to my interests: an action adventure games with seemingly menu interaction within combat (similar to the ff7 remake series, both are games i've played for 100 hours and have even platinumed ff7 remake intergrade), draws heavy inspiration from nier automata (played it on switch and got all the major endings up to ending E. yes, i know, switch, but it was still enjoyable) and stellar blade (which i also nearly 100%ed) and of course resembles sekiro, which i've played twice to fight all the bosses at least once.

all this word jumbo just to say i'm a massive fan of this type of game, and it's been one of my most anticipated games since the reveal. i'm also a pretty big game freak fan in general, the nintendo 3ds was my "childhood console" (yes, i know, might seem crazy to some hearing a product still so recent was part of someone's childhood) and i've basically absolutely destroyed it, in a metaphorical sense, by playing no kiddinf 1000+ hours of pokemon games (4th, 5th, 6th and 7th generation).

all in all it's a game that intrigues me both because of the devs behind it (especially since it was so refreshing seeing that behind the curtains they postedf where they looked genuinely happy to develop something that wasn't pokemon for once) and for the type of games it draws its inspo from.

just thought i'd throw my hat in the ring and see if i get lucky. if not, thanks anyways for reading this wall of text and hopefully we all get what we want🙏

this game can't be that complicated

and yet it feels like it. i've got 4 hours on world so far, this is my second mh game after having tried rise like 4 times on my switch. only once i was able to push myself to the end of the main story only to the drop it, when it apparently "gets good". i just don't understand how this franchise is as successful as it is when it's so confusing and overwhelming, you'd think the masses wouldn't like it. this doesn't feel like a "fromsoftware" type of lack of handholding, it just kinda feels like they do explain, but they do a fucking shitty job at it. i've just completed the first actual "mission" of the game because i spent a ton of time trying to get accustomed to how the game feels, and i tried out a bunch of shit in the training arena while not learning much of anything since it doesn't teach you much outside of pressing the same button 4 times in a row. i'll keep pushing through because i genuinely do wanna like it but i just don't understand how even the entry in the franchise that supposedly made things a lot more convenient still is so convoluted to get into. it doesn't help that the menus are incredibly confusing, explaining little to nothing and the icons are all terrible and too small. every time i open the sidebar menu thing, it genuinely pains me because i feel like so many things could get condensed or simplified. very much so a game that feels like it's too complicated for its own good when at the end of the day it's just about reacting to the boss and then smashing it a bit. i'm tempted to just use the overpowered shit because after spending 1 hour and 10 minutes over 2 attempts in a 2 star mission, it genuinely feels like a humongous waste of time. I didn't learn anything, i dodged most attacks and simply died when a big guy chained a couple attacks on me, didn't feel earned. when i spent 7 hours on malenia, even while making no progress within the first couple attempts, i still felt like i was walking towards accomplishing something. and no, i'm not making a souls comparison because i'm playing it like a soulslike, therefore playing it wrong. as i said i do have experience with rise, so i'm kinda just playing it as a reactionary game against the bosses, but it feels like everything's a huge sponge too.

this was just me rambling about my experience so far, but did anyone feel this way at the beginning? it feels like the game is uninviting me from playing it. also damn the game is sooo brown especially in the lobby. everyone talks about the piss filter during the ps3 era but now much about the flans lare brown during the ps4 era.

what's the next cope for a potential announcement?

title. i don't really mean much by the question, just wanna know when y'all think we could get an announcement for a new game. i do personally think we're closer to it than not given the somewhat recent capcom talks surrounding a couple franchises, but i also have been hoping for an announcement since like 2020 so who knows. and the point of my question is, *where* would it be? future nintendo direct? tokyo game show with a capcom presentation? there's no way an ace attorney 7 is a game awards kinda title, which kinda bums me out because if we don't see anything around september, we might not get a realistic chance until 4-5 months later with new smaller presentations.

how do i go even lower?

i've just beaten the final boss and was wondering what this was all about. i do have the jungle, so is it just that i have to start the dlc and they'll go there? the new fish?

Best employees including the yakuza dlc ones?

I've just concluded the ichiban dlc ministory and they've mentioned i can now recruit japanese employees from ads. i've also just unlocked the branch feature, who should i have as my servants and cooks?

on my branch i've got drae as the manager (saw that on a guide that was a couple years old tho, probably outdated) and then maki and yusuke as cooks, charlie as a servant (don't even have money for a second one and before actually employing anyone else, i wanna know if they're great)

on my main restaurant i've got carolina and raul as cooks, and el nino and raptor as servants. just wanna know how i can improve and about at what level i should train them all at before spending it on other stuff like the farm and the few diver upgrades left.

Is miku really worth investing further than A0R0?

her banner is going away so i was wondering if i should at least get 1 dupe. i'm a careful puller so i've got plenty of gems to spare, just wanted to know what the general consensus on her is as of now, and if it's worth it considering future units

Best team without wrathful broly for the extreme mission in festival?

i've been trying to string together something, but this team sucks major dick. way too many stackers and you're constantly gonna be floating some of them, meaning you get into the "late game" portion with some barely stacked characters and overall it's just not a good feeling team. any suggestions?
