Got my dream Douglas!! :D

I was finally able to afford a cute Tyson wolf! Kinda questioning the texture or maybe the face of the Tyson wolf. What’s your opinion on the Tyson wolf! Is he a good pup to have and what should I name him?? The tush tag has been cut off but that’s ok, I’m so excited!!!! 🩷🐾✨

What’s the difference between Bass Pro Shop Douglas dogs VS Douglas Dogs online and Amazon??

This is my newest ESSA Border Collie that I’ve bought from a friend and he found it inside the Bass Pro Shop store, I already have other Douglas dogs from Amazon and the websites but I’ve never been at the Bass Pro Shop store before so I’m just wondering what’s the difference between them? Do you like them better or the websites/Amazon kind better?? I’m so excited to get him in the mail soon!!!

Struggling to cope post MPFL reconstruction and TTO surgery. Advice needed.

I had a MPFL reconstruction and TTO (and lateral release) surgery three weeks ago on Monday June 8th. I am really struggling to cope. I feel like such a baby, it’s been three weeks and I'm already in a pit. I am in so much pain and I am uncomfortable all the time. The painkillers (Oxycodone Percocet 5 and Tylenol) do help but mostly just result in me sleeping my day away in fitful bouts. The pain is very unbearable and painful more in the afternoons and night. I can't sleep on my side which is how I sleep, tossing and turning frequently, now I have to sleep still on my back. I don't want to get up and walk around. Following my surgery I made it upstairs to my bedroom but now I am in too much pain (and too scared) to go back downstairs, so I am stuck and almost entirely dependent on my family members.
Is it normal for my inner side of my kneecap to feel numb and tingly when I touch it?

Does anyone have any advice or any words of wisdom to help me get through this? To anyone who has received the same or similar surgeries, how long did the pain last for you? Does it get better? Any tips to minimise the pain, outside of medication? Any advice to keep from spiralling? Any tips on how to sleep comfortably with a leg brace on (I can't lay on my side)? I am sleeping with my leg slightly elevated on two soft pillows, is this a good or bad idea? Is there anything I might be doing that is inadvertently making the pain worse? My first physio appointment isn't for another 2 weeks. I don't know, I am just in a rut and want to know that I am not alone. Any advice, insight or camaraderie would be greatly appreciated. Hope this was coherent.

Has anybody ever had the spot where they’ve placed the Femoral Nerve Block become very painful and itchy after MPFL reconstruction and TTO surgery??

Has anybody ever had the spot where they’ve placed the Femoral Nerve Block become very painful and itchy after MPFL reconstruction and TTOsurgery, like two to three weeks later? I had surgery around three weeks ago, and they placed the nerve block before I went to sleep; it worked immediately and lasted around four to five days. However, ever since it has worn off, it has been very painful and itchy every morning and night. I will contact my surgeon tomorrow morning about it, but I’m just wondering if this is normal or not. My knee and leg haven’t been hurting me as much since surgery, which is great for me but my knee/leg does goes numb every other day whenever I’m sitting down or laying down. I’m able to walk around with the crutches more and be more active and comfortable lately.

Does anybody else feel like they’re going to die soon or afraid of dying one day??

I'm so scared of having a heart attack and dying from it, even though I'm only 25-26 years old. My whole family is more prone to having heart attacks or diabetes than the average person. My grandma almost died from a heart attack and had to have open heart surgery a few years ago, and I don't know how I'm going to survive without her. She's like a real mother to me, rather than my biological mother. I'm just so scared that she's going to have another heart attack or that anyone else in my family will, and I'm having trouble sleeping at night because I'm so scared that they'll pass away without me knowing. I've tried to look for a therapist around here, but I'm from a small town where there aren't many doctors or therapists, so sadly that's not an option for me.

Does anyone have weighted plushies? Does it help with anxiety?

Hi, everyone! Just as the title says, I'm wondering if weighted plushies really do help with anxiety.

I'm struggling with occasional bouts of anxiety almost on a daily basis (e.g. when I'm working, doing hobbies, just lying down, etc) and I've read articles that say it does help with calming nerves/anxiety and loneliness so I’ve found this cutest Bullseye horse weighted plush from Walmart and he’s so cute and adorable and very soft and cuddly. I just want to know if it does work and is it worth it??

Thank you so much!
