… this one got me. I can usually tell without seeing the person if it’s a male singing high or a female singing low, but Lydia Kitto with Jungle had me completely fooled. Her tone sounds exactly like a man singing in falsetto to me (especially on the album version), so it broke my brain seeing a live performance. Still, if I close my eyes, I hear a guy singing in falsetto, lol. She has a unique tone for sure.

All my life, the plural of “shrimp” was… “shrimp”. But on here, everyone uses “shrimps”. Why?

I was diagnosed with Asperger’s back in my 20s, but now, 20 years later, I got fully evaluated again since so much more is known about neurodivergence. The reconfirmation of ASD wasn’t a surprise, but my NP felt strongly that I should be tested for ADHD. I did a proctored test on a computer, and I failed with flying colors. I am still not sure what to think of it as I never once suspected that I have ADHD, but here we are. Add me to Club AuDHD, lol.

I guess that now I need to educate myself more on this specific combo. Any AuDHD folks on here have suggestions for resources to learn more? What makes us different from people with ASD? They seem like conflicting conditions.

Edit: forgot to add that I’m a guy. Apparently it’s not as common for us? I noticed that the AuDHD Women sub is significantly busier than the others.
