Is there a way to create a channel going across my driveway so the X450 doesn’t have to drive all the way around the house to get back to the charger? The app isn’t letting me do it.

Bought it two weeks ago and it worked fine. Got 3 great mows with it. Start it up yesterday and it wouldn’t move. Check the app and it said it had an update available. Fine. Try to do the update and let it run for the night.
Came out this AM. Status says downloading 0%. It hadn’t moved at all over night. So I look at the network connections, WiFi is good, cellular was good, x450 was set to auto.
Today I went out there to check on it again and it had no errors or anything on the screen. So, I say to hell with the updates, I just need to mow.
Gets out in the yard and as it starts the perimeter mow and it stops after 10 minutes and says Error 4209. I try to power cycle it and when it came back, I pressed mow and it acted like it was having a seizure. Just all over the place. I power cycle again and it made it back to the base (home) without issue.
I’ve been trying to get it to update since and it absolutely will not. How do I get this damn thing updated and working correctly?
I have extremely good WiFi that covers over an acre and 4G coverage here is great. The NetRTK service coverage is very dense here so that shouldn’t be the issue.
Anyone have any ideas they can offer up on this? I thought after weeks of research that I was buying the right one. It was second pick only to the Kress I was gonna buy but they are out of stock everywhere so I went with the x450. I am a network engineer by trade and an extremely tech savvy guy and like to think I know my way around electronics. Guess robot mowers are not my thing.
Appreciate any advice from you fellow robot mowers.
I ordered this on the second wave of preorders so I’ve had it here unused sealed in the box. How is the usability of it? Easy enough for my wife to use when she travels for work? How is the initial configuration, hard or easy?
I personally use a UTR (please no comparison wars, just here to get a couple answers is all.) and really like the simplicity of it. What’s the overall feel here? Do owners like it or are there issues to watch out for?

Don’t mind the cable mess. Still waiting on a couple of 1U brush panels to move stuff around. I also need to move a couple of pieces around but you get the idea. It ended up this way when I replaced my two post network rack with the new Tripp Lite. It’ll get there. There are a few gateways that aren’t pictured that I’m using for test networks.
Hopefully they show up soon. The case was supposed to be dropped off yesterday. Nothing like waiting on the last piece! Missing from the pic is one more 5070 which is down in my office.
I’ll be using this mainly as a small LLM machine for learning. RAM is 96GB on the bottom right in case you were curious. Mellanox 10G cards on the way.

This hunk of junk will not stay connected to my USB dongle at all. I ordered and tried 2 other dongles and the same damn problem. Tried both usb ports in front and back of my PS5, no dice.
Unusable!
Now I’m stuck with a $300+ paper weight.
Edit: I’m a moron and had the damn thing plugged into the wrong hole. Doh!
