I know that this has happened for plenty of games, but there was genuinely some really awesome stuff there (honest to god one of the most consistently high quality mod pages I have ever seen, Darkest Dungeon tier, whoever the fuck GamerImpostor24 was they were a champ) and I kinda wanted to try importing something stupid

But I was genuinely distraught upon hearing they'd discontinued modding barely a month earlier, especially for something as bullshit as "people were using it to cheat", I would choose to be perma-banned from Leaderboards and Invasions in a heartbeat if I could assemble a shitty umamusume mod and run around as my goat Goldship, even if the current horse outfits are 'adequate'

I saw a few comments on steam and on reddit about sending tickets and feedback to see if it could get overturned, and I will be doing that, but I assume that hope is gone and we'll just have to live with it

Godd who even PLAYS Invasion, it just sounds like the regular trials but with additional random bullshit

It was the ms paint powerpoint one where Frisk is built like All Might and oneshots the knight (and gerson for some reason) before flying into space with the entire fun gang in one hand

This is mainly about music settings but there are a few more gripes I have
- Mute ingame music while in lobby, in games where rounds can last 8-10 minutes, sitting there twiddling your thumbs after dying first sucks, it happens, but having to listen to 1-2 minutes of someone else's LMS or 6 minutes of special round music screeching in your ears for no fucking reason is awful, play the game music when I'm playing the fucking game
- Different sliders for different types of music, I might really enjoy most LMS' in the game and want to hear them more clearly and vividly when I'm the last left, but be less keen on hearing chase themes so loudly constantly because maybe I don't like the game's audio mixing and it's too loud, and I just don't want the ambient music full stop, well I can't choose that, because everything is one slider, sometimes it's just shoved into "master volume" even
- Global killer chase themes, if I really jam with a killer's chase theme when I'm on them and want to hear more of it, hell even hear the full track without it being interrupted by killing a survivor or them just getting too far away, I should be able to just listen to the track in full without it constantly restarting, DOD does this and it's good
- Display avaliable match information, If you tell me which map or killer is going to be next, don't squirrel it away into a random ass billboard in the basement of the lobby, it is genuinely two lines of ui text in the corner of the screen
- Ability window indicators, just my own, I would like to know that my parry lasts x amount of time visually, or when I'm animation locked due to using an ability, when I am no longer animation locked, clarity is nice
- Seperation of skins and their custom music, let me slap the colour and electricity chase theme onto my M4 coolkid or whatever, it cannot be that difficult to build a more in depth music controller and people love customisation

Genuinely it feels like developers spend so long making cool animations, pairings for custom LMS', cool and interesting abilities, constant opportunities for skill expression, faithful and good reference skins, and then their settings menu has hitboxes, one sound slider, a check box for if chase themes play or not, and then 5 other random misc things nobody gives a shit about

We needen't worry about the new flying character, for the existing users have already achieved flight

If you're on new world or the resort map it can genuinely be impossible to catch a tac 9, dante or kit if they're willing to play dirty enough and your killer doesn't have easy access to vertical mobility, they jump onto higher elevation at a spot far away from any direct paths up, you have the GAUL to try to chase them in an asym game, they jump down before you get there and then ready their jump, if you stay up top you can't hit them, if you jump down they jump back up and you have to go around, losing at least 20-30 seconds just catching back up to them, those two abilities might as well not even have a stun attached because the vertical mobility is capable of getting guaranteed value every time, either in the form of forcing out cooldowns or gaining a dragon's hoard of distance

I think they should limit the launch angle of dante's jump and give tac 9's walljump a significantly longer cooldown unless they land their thwomp stun, a meta where the most optimal way to play is to avoid interacting with the killer as much as possible and force unwinnable interactions makes for generally unfun gameplay

I refuse to play a single game of survivor against Pursuer or Killdroid purely because of how hard the survivor team needs to try compared to how hard the killer needs to try, Pursuer runs at ppl and presses m1, and killdroid spams drones and hits the flying aimbot button, the skill floor and skill ceiling are touching and I have never enjoyed games against either of them

I've heard people complain about Artful, but I see them struggling more often than thriving (and for some reason teams lock in specifically against Artful for some reason), and I've even heard people complain about Badware, but never about Harken, oddly, so I'm genuinely just curious about everyone else's preferences as survivor against killer

Jesus christ the surrogate vulture is such a beautiful boss fight, while I was getting through It I was just sitting there, mouth agape, taking in how wonderful it looked, how hauntingly melancholic it sounded

Genuinely got jumpscared by how good this bossfight was

Whenever LMS happens, if the killer hasn't been a targetting halfwit, then usually everyone's a bit banged up, including the reciever of the LMS, what's the point of having all these flashy effects on special LMS' when 90% of the time the survivor during the LMS is sitting at 60, 40, even just one hit away from death, it almost removes the point of the LMS since the killer gets their time back if they were low, but the survivor doesn't get their health back, even in matchups like Pursuer where the killer specialises in sticking on one single person and just m1ing them to death

I have rarely seen a showtime or pursuer special lms go on for any real amount of time because unless the banana stops playing the game and hides in a corner somewhere, they'll be sitting on medium-low health just from chip damage and have no real chance when the LMS begins

This has been a weird issue in every single asym I've played for some reason and I've never understood it
