I remember reading this book maybe 10-15 years ago. The main character was an orphan with the head of a dog, mouse, rat, rabbit, or similar animal, and lived in an orphanage with similar children. The lady in charge of the orphanage was large and evil and had a cane that transformed into a manticore. I think there might have been a giant crow with glowing eyes? And a city with lots of rain and water. Medium sized chapter book with pen illustrations, if I remember correctly.
Planning to find a mini smoke machine and flickering lights for the inside of the censer and maybe the spine crest.
The shrine is going to go against the empty wooden wall on one of the back balconies!
I imagine it's pretty likely that the Cogfort eventually gets an upgrade sprue like Mega Gargants have gotten, or like the Imperial Knights in 40k. So what would you like to see? A variety with additional armor? Melee plow? More crew options or cosmetics? A different big gun?
Affected by a curse that gradually turns them into plants or animals.
Messenger to replace the grenadier, captain, lookout, Forgepriest to replace the gunner, furnace engineer, and turret engineer.
My Cities army, the Symposium of Fire, is stranded deep in an enchanted forest in Ghyran, and the troops are being affected by strange magic that gradually turns them into plants or animals. Most obvious here with the snail-faced lookout.
They use far more magic than is considered orthodox, including keeping Necromancers to keep their soldiers fighting.
My army is a rogue city who uses a ton of magic in ways that are usually considered unorthodox. I thought it would be cool to have a unit of undead, shambling Steelhelms. The sandy parts will be painted as moss.
Loving the idea of non-combatant Cogforts. Windmill/grain till fort, apiary/hive smoker for, and storehouse/inn. Possibly a future scratchbuild or kitbash project. Any other ideas?
Probably running him as a Knellmage in my CoS army. Reference drawing also done by me!
