This is a first impression post I'll be sharing my experience after proper testing.

**BELAGIA -** SEA MONK (Impression of Lorenzo Pazzaglia Black Sea).

This is my first ever order from them, and I've been eyeing them for a while. Their catalogue has some other niche and good quality impressions that I need to try as well, as for Sea Monk I wanted something for the mornings and I love how the adg profumo dna smells so I Was looking for something in that lane but elevated, had my eyes on Orto Parisi Megamare first but as it's not blind buy safe and very polarising to some I decided to research a bit more and got to know about Black sea as a safer more mass appealing alternative, and belagia had an impression so I went with them. The packaging is outstanding, box quality, bottle quality, and most of all their customer service is top notch, I asked if they could send a complimentary sample of either Tuscan leather or Ombre Nomade and they went and not only sent both but in 5ml quantity. Genuinely happy with how responsive they were in all of this. Already decided to buy from them again next month IA. 10/10

  1. **NIOI / SENTIRBON -** Impression of HAWAS ICE.

Again first time with Abid Bhai, heard great things about him and his work in the community and decided to give him a try, been wanting to try Hawas ice for a long time now but as the prices are right now, I went with Nioi. This is a 180ml bottle for just 3500 and for the service they're offering I think it's genuinely worth it. Same thing happened with Nioi as well I asked if they can add a tester and they added both of them. The bottle feels heavy, very minimalistic, and the juice is full of quality as well. 9.5/10

  1. **AROME -** CEDRAT **(Impression of Mancera Cedrat Boise Intense)**

I couldn't found an impression of the intense version from any other Pakistani house but Arome. And I had a great first experience with them so decided to go again this time. This purchase was to fill my masculine / evening well - put together slot. As my bottle of emerald was running low it's like half now 😭 and because of how much I loved that I wanted to explore masculine dnas even more. The bottle quality is as it good as it always is, no complaints here other than slow customer service and unresponsiveness but it's overlooked for now.

Tell me which house should I try next? (no enchante and Peirama please).

She just finished Death Note. What's next?

So my female freind finally listened and finished the whole thing in like 4 days. Now she's texting me asking what's next and honestly I don't want to mess this up.

She's not a longtime anime fan. Death Note was literally her first. She loved the mind games, the tension, and the cat-and-mouse dynamic. Not sure if she's ready for something completely different or if she needs something with that same psychological grip to keep her hooked.

What would you recommend as the perfect second anime for her? Something that won't overwhelm a newcomer but still has that "I can't stop watching" energy.

Here are what in the top of my mind:

  1. Violet evergarden.

  2. AOT - but I want her to be a bit more tasteful of something like AOT to finally recommend it.

  3. Movies like "your name".

  4. Or introduce her to a bit mature and tolling show like "Summer Hikaru died"

Emerald by Arome

THIS IS BEAUTIFUL! From the very first sniff I knew I'm gonna rock the heck out of this. This is an impression of Clive Christian 1872, which is famous for the masculine scent profile and the quality of the ingredients.

Haven't tried the original hut I can assure you this is a must have for someone who's looking for a masculine (guy who know his shit) kind of scent.

Opens up with this slightly peppery very masculine lemon, not the very fresh kind of lemon you find commonly. Now on my skin it gets this amber/woody but well put together mature kind of scent very quickly, but on clothes the opening stays for a bit longer. I won't say it's suitable for extreme heat because of the dry down, BUT the dry down is very smooth and doesn't feel overwhelming to me at all.

Longevity is crazy, if you're mostly indoors it'll last an easy 10+ hrs, if not it gets like 6+ hrs at max. For the first two hrs the projection is really good and the best part is that you don't get nose blind to this, I constantly smell this for 2 hours straight on me then it gets close to the skin but I still get wiffs here and there. Initially it was a bit harsh like the opening was headache inducing when smelt up close but as it gets older and older, the difference is real.

Ratings is straight 10 for everything, the scent profile, performance, price, for the bottle itself just because of the magnetic cap it's 11/10. Highly highly recommended.

COASTAL Chill by Alawais

A little context first: I received the bottle warm. After a few sprays I moved it somewhere cool and let it rest for a couple of days before my first proper test.

First impression. Rough. Gone within the hour. Synthetic, harsh, like a cheap air freshener. Straight in your face with no depth. I blamed the heat exposure and the fact that it was a fresh batch, so instead of writing it off I put it aside and let it macerate, one spray a week, nothing serious, just letting it settle.

That patience paid off.

Now? The best and most realistic citrus/orange I've smelled in this price range. The first 10–30 minutes are the highlight, bright, addictive, cuts through summer heat in a way that feels effortless. Yes, up close there's still a synthetic edge, but diffused in the air it's genuinely fantastic. Around the 30-minute mark the citrus softens and it shifts into something sweet and fruity with a whisper of mint still in the background. By 60 minutes it's fully settled into a quiet, skin-close drydown, soft, subtle, sweet.

Longevity: 3.5 hours mornings, up to 4 hours evenings. Becomes a true skin scent around the 1.5-hour mark.

The customer service part is worth mentioning. When I brought my initial concerns to Sharjeel Bhai, the man behind Alawais, he didn't get defensive. He listened, acknowledged the issue, and told me he's already working on a new batch, improved performance, refined scent profile. Once it clears testing, he'll send it over for a direct comparison. That kind of accountability is rare. Genuinely impressed.

Ratings:

Scent profile: 10/10

Performance: 5/10

Customer service: 10/10

Will update once the new batch arrives.

Lahore & Sahiwal vs Okara.

Guys what are your thoughts on this ongoing (potentially nuclear) conflict between these two sides.

The government of Quetta is seriously considering to be the mediator in all of this, but so far all efforts have been strongly rejected. 😭🥀

Recent picks, First Impressions.

This is just a first impression, not the final verdict so don't judge the house based on just this.

Emerald by Arome (inspired by Christian Clive 1872).

Coastal Chill by Alawais fragrances (impression of Lv Pacific Chill).

Got emerald this after noon, and as someone who hasn't been familiar with some good brands I was really impressed and surprised by the bottle, and cap quality, and it was a magnetic cap. I was like how are they doing all this in budget??? My initial thoughts on the juice itself is 50/50 I don't really like anything that isn't purely fresh or invictus kinda DNA but alot of my past purchases have grown on me so I'm expecting something similar with this as well.

Coastal Chill has been with me for the past 2 weeks and as you can see I haven't given it much wearings, because in the first week it was very weak, like basically gone after the first hour on my skin. And Around 2hrs on clothes, but I love the orange notes it's so addicting and cuts through the air like magic. It's resting for 1 more week untill I do another test run to see how it goes.

Recommendations / Suggestions

Help 😭

All my senior frag enthusiasts and collectors, Want to know if i should keep exploring the pakistani impression brands (or their original creations), or should I finally move on now to the middle eastern houses? Is their still something in the pakistani market I might be missing out on and should try or atleast have in my small collection.

Current rotation:

Angelos by sesky (obviously not using it now)

Wavy and Sahil by Scents n Stories.

Khadlaj Shiyaaka Silver/Red.

Shreiff by Edenrobe.

Coastal vibe by Alawais fragrances.

Jawharat Al Oud by Al majed for oud.

Emptied these:

Feelings On Fire, Gourmand, Everest, Summerella, Dictator, Convicted, Olympus by Sesky.

Eyes on You, Catch 22, Saif-ul-malook, Inferno, Streets of Cairo, Cross my Heart, Melt Me, Dauntless, by Scents N Stories.

Urban legend, Legacy, Chasing Fire by Funoon Fragrances.

Reetaj by Al majed for oud. (Multiple bottles)

Rasasi Blue for Men.

I might be missing a couple but these are pretty much it. I'm in absolute love with invictus DNA, along with floral orientals, and slight touch of oud in the base notes. I've started to get more into aquatics or citrus heavy scents for this summer and also in general.

And lastly for the month of June i have a budget of 6500 max. Depending on what recommendations I'll get, if it leans more towards to explore the pakistani market a bit more, then suggest me 2 scents either impressions or original blends, one for day time and for evening, because here in quetta the evening winds and whether is cool (in a way that it is still hot but the wind is cool) and really pleasant so bright citruses don't fit. And please don't stop at that list all the ones that are absolutely worth trying.

And then if it leans more towards the middle eastern houses, give me the top 5 you think i should be adding in my collection first and then work around all my next purchases around it. THANKS A BUNCH 🫶🏻
