Question from a beginner, at least I think so

I’m windsurfing for about a year and I never navigated on the sea, just on lakes. And I am a little nervous about it (because of the sharks, jellyfish…). Any tips since I fall still often ?
Thanks

Question on the history of the both North and South American continents.

Hi, I was wondering why is it the Europeans who went to the American continent and not the other side around ?

I was thinking because of the North and South American continent layout (North-South+surrounded by the ocean) but I’m not sure.

I found our brand new weapon!

Its name : The Banana (L*nk) PI (stands for PathfInder) !
This weapon is a zonai artifact I disassembled and filled with old Lnk’s clothes and I discovered that this artifact will detect if L*nk is close to it and go find him !
If we use it correctly, we could send it automatically with a bomb and hey ! No more L*nk remaining !

Glory to The Grand Master of the Yiga Clan !

MacOS version ??

Hello, this is a short question I want to ask : will we have a MacOS version of this game or not ? Because I'm only on Mac so I'm a little sad I can't actually play this beautiful game. Well I have Linux but...it's a Raspberry Pi.

Thank you !

A theory about Kerbin and Kerbals

Hello, you all know that there’s only a few buildings on Kerbin, KSC (I’m not talking about the Kennedy Space Center), Island Airfield…
So where does the Kerbal live ? Where ?
And I found a simple answer : underground !
What do you think ?

Should I post that in r/kerbalmemes ?

Why i, j,k ?

Hi I've got a question on imaginary numbers and particularly on this formula : i = j =k =ijk=-1 .

Why does ijk = -1 ? It do not make sense ? Isn't it basically √-1*√-1* √-1 ?

I think that i isn't really identical to j and same thing for k but this equality just doesn't make sense for me...

Thanks

DIY keyboard for a cyberdeck projet

Note: j'ai déjà trouvé quelques composants :

- des boutons tactiles de chez Adafruit (id 3101)

- un microprocesseur nice!nano 2

Je suis nouveau donc je bloque beaucoup sur ça et toute aide serait évidemment appréciée.

Dimensions in math

Not a long time ago, I was talking with a mathematician who had created some 3+ dimensions objects using a program then he had 3d printed some of them. How is it possible? He explained to me something like these objects could be (not entirely) in 3D but their area explained that they couldn't entirely be in a three dimensional space.

What do you think?

Questions for my Cyberdeck

Hi I'm back with some questions on my Cyberdeck project.

First of all, where to begin after finding the idea of my project ? Finding parts (practically done) ? And then ?

As well I want to have speakers but I saw that I'll need to use HDMI or jack (?) ports so I wonder if there's another possibility.

I'm thinking of beginning to design the keyboard (because it's really compact) and I'd like to have one like the PiCalc of Clockwork.

Thank you.

First DIY project ever, first cyberdeck, first...

Hello Reddit, it's my first post ! Finally !

So I want to create a cyberdeck a bit like the well-known Nintendo Switch but... I know practically nothing. Well, just some tutorials, docs, things like that.

Well, things are said, so I'll present the project: it'll be a small and portable cyberdeck with a main part which has a 5" or 7" touch display, a Raspberry Pi (probably the 4B but I'm still hesitating because of the thickness it'll add to the case), a main battery, *and perhaps an NVMe SSD.*

Then we have the Bluetooth keyboard part, a part that I'd like to be as much as possible DIY, with Adafruit tactile switch buttons (the 3101), my own PCB, a nice!nano v2 as the microcontroller(if you have a better idea for a beginner, let me know), and finally another battery.

So with that I want to slide the keyboard part into the main part using a sliding rail mechanism similar to the Nintendo Switch's one, then if it's possible, charge the keyboard part as well but it appears to me like it'll be rather impossible without a factory doing this for you...

Thank you for your attention, and if you can help me make this project realisable it'll be great.

Open questions I'm still figuring out:

* Display: HDMI, DSI, other ?

* Battery format for the main board etc. and overall case thickness given the Pi 4B + extras

* If you have some tutorials to recommend to me...feel free

Thanks!
