I finally found one!

I've been hunting for a victorian ring in my price range, and I ended up finding this one on eBay and sent a bit of a lowball offer and the seller ended up accepting! It's a baby ring that is tiny, but I'm buying it as a pinky ring. 10ct with a garnet dating to around 1890 supposedly. It was an American seller so it'll have to come overseas to me, I lament the current shipping fees from America to Australia, it's so expensive. But I'm very excited to have finally found one in my price range, I've been hunting for months!

Wanted to share this really sweet bangle!

I picked this up on eBay recently and it was delivered today, the inscription reads, 'To Blossom with all my love Bill August 8th 1948'. I'm not sure exactly who Blossom and Bill were but they had good taste in jewellery! I collect engraved and inscribed jewellery to hopefully save it from scrap and melt and this is just my latest addition.

My Nana gave me this family cross.

It's my birthday and she gave me her grandmother's necklace, so my great great grandmother. It got gorgeous pearls in the gold cross, but to me the worth is in the family history. I've never really had any heirloom jewellery given to me like this, so it is extra special. It's lived through 5 generations!

Not sure on exactly how old it is, but to give an idea my great great grandmother was born in 1891, but it could've come from even her mother! But the fact it's still in the family after all this time is incredible and only missing one pearl! It's stamped 9ct on the back but it's a super old mark I think.

Gold or gold plated?

Got this ring on eBay this week and it was sold by a person helping clear out their friend's parent's house and it was found in a drawer in a desk, said seller was also selling a watch face from the parents that is dated 1952, so I think this isn't just an AliExpress ring. It is super heavy and weighs 8 grams. Google lens shows some similar ones but none that are an exact match. I've worn it on my finger for a few days now and there's been no green stain, so I'm thinking either gold or really heavy gold plating? There's no marks anywhere on the ring. I'm having it tested on Tuesday hopefully but wondered what others thought.

[COLLECTION] I was told this group would enjoy my engraved watch collection.

I have recently fallen in love with collecting old sentimental watches and somehow amassed four of them. The one with a band is from my family, and the other three are eBay finds. The one dated 1946 was a war time nurse's watch and still works! It's one of those ones that you turn backwards to get going. I think there's something really special about engraved watches!

Ring I got in eBay lot for $15

I think the hallmarks are British and I see 375 which is 9ct and maybe the letter A where the year letter goes?

Any thoughts on the stone or age?

This beautiful engraved ring I scored today.

It is engraved with Gloria and Peter 1958, my oldest engraved ring to date. Stamped STGSIL too which is an older Australian hallmark for sterling silver.

Secondhand engraved band I bought

It reads, sue 'all mine at last' love you always tara. It's a really sweet inscription! I wonder who Sue and Tara were?

'I Love You' heart hinged ring.

Bought this off eBay and it finally came today, any ideas on who made it? Google Lens gives some, a few kinda similar matches but nothing exact. There's no stamps or hallmarks anywhere and the ring is shut together with magnetics when it's closed.

Coolest ring I've ever bought!

I bought it as an early birthday gift for myself and I'm so glad I did! It's 9ct and even has someone's initials engraved on the inside, which I love in old jewellery.

To my fellow Pokemon jewellery lovers, is this ampharos?

Am I going crazy or are these earrings I bought second hand off eBay a little while ago, ampharos? Like it's an exact model, except for the forehead gel and the spot on the stomach? Or is this just a coincidence, I think they were sold as 'giraffe silver earrings'.

Dog in a jacket statue?

Found this at the op shop today, had to get him. But I have no idea what he actually is apart from a dog in a jacket and hat? He's very heavy for his size and he makes a solid noise when I knock him with my knuckles. He's mad of some sort of stone I think? No marks that I can see anywhere and Google lens hasn't been any help. Does anyone recognise him from anywhere? Like a show or something maybe?

Does anyone recognise this style?

Found the weirdest bracelet today. I think it's three snakes braided together. I definitely think it's also handmade, it's not symmetrical at all, and there's tiny flaws. I would love to know this style of jewellery and potential age? Thankyou!
