When do you put your AC in?
Wondering when everyone puts their window units in. I try to hold off til mid-June but the older I get the more appealing mid-May is 🥵. Trying to hold off!

Is she at peace? Is she okay?
My mom died 6 years ago in March. She was 66. Lung cancer that spread to her brain, she was gone 6 weeks after her diagnosis and right before Covid shut the world down. She was my best friend. I loved her so much but I didn’t always show it the best. This week I’ve found myself missing her and feeling sadder than I have in a while. I miss her.
Is she okay? Does she know how much I loved her and how much I miss her? Does she know I’m sorry? Is she at peace? Is she with my dad? Was she scared at the end? I had my daughter just over a year after she passed and it’s been so hard raising her without my mom and dad.

Bargaining
Bargaining our next contract currently, management has legal representation present at each session but our Union does not. We have our field rep but I feel like we could benefit from legal counsel? We haven’t consulted any legal counsel during our preparation at all either.
Is this standard? We’re a relatively young Union (unionized in 2021) and I’m only a month into my tenure on the board. Just wondering if this is normal?

Screen time blocker
Is there a way to edit what time the screen time blocker kicks on? If not can there be? I love the idea of it but I’d rather it kick in at like, 6 or 7pm instead of midnight.

First tee ball game advice?
I posted recently about my first year coaching my daughter’s tee ball team and got a lot of great advice. We’ve had 3 practices now and I’m feeling much more confident. I’m a solo coach but I have a wonderful mom who has stepped up and been a huge, huge help.
We’re supposed to have our first game Thursday, I’m afraid it’ll get rained out but wondering if you all had any tips to help it go smoothly?
We’re a team of 8: 7 boys, 1 girl. Ages 4-7. A little chaotic but overall good, fun kids

My Molly girl has a nasal carcinoma and it’s been causing seizures. She’s 11.5. She’s doing well on keppra but I can tell she’s getting tired. We adopted her when she was 9 when her human died, 2 months to the day from when I lost my souldog Reggie.
Molly’s been my daughter’s best friend ever since.
I’m afraid I’ll come home from work one day to her gone, and I don’t know how I’ll explain that to my 5 year old or what I will do.
They don’t live long enough.

Rowen had the best day on Monday! She was so excited to wake up to her new desk and her gifts. She was so happy for the “fuh-lim-go” 🦩and the R light and the flower garden set!
She was so excited for her presents and her desk that it was almost impossible to get her to school 😅 She brought the flamingo to school to show her friends and as soon as we got home she started drawing at her desk.
I cannot believe she’s 5, we have kindergarten sign up tomorrow. She had the best birthday, and I wouldn’t have been able to make it happen without you all.
We are going to go to dinner to celebrate on Friday with her best friend and her mom thanks to u/songicy4058 ! She’s so excited
