whenever i watched cartoons and this happened, it felt like i was watching something a little more mature, and i felt a bit tougher

especially when i watched Batman The Animated Series, its actually pretty amazing how much they got away with in terms of violence and writing

you can do a lot more with a PG rating, but companies often play it safe, a lot of PG rated movies are only rated this way due to using words like "damn" or "hell", like come on, you can get a little more bold than that

no dude, a victorian child would not die after taking mountain dew and doritos, they would most likely be happy that they're getting any type of food and drink thats not hard ass bread and straight liquor for once in their life

the most that would happen is them being weirded out by the taste or getting some stomach issues, but considering coca cola had literal cocaine in it, i think it would go down a lot easier than whatever the fuck was being served to them back then

that being said Arby's would probably kill one of them tho

i was having a discussion with my cousin on how Zack Snyder's superman barely represents the actual character and doesn't save people, and he said my entire criticism was wrong because there is a 3 minute scene in Batman V Superman that shows him saving people in like 4 places

now, is it a exception to my criticism? yes. does it change the point i made as a whole? hell no, hes still a careless superhero who throws people against buildings without giving it much thought, i wish people would get that doing this doesn't really prove your point

sure, you might show a small exception in the things people are criticizing, but if the majority of the work has that problem, then their point still stands, you don't look smart by pointing a small dent in their arguments, you look stupid for thinking that made that much of a difference when it didn't

i don't get it, you've built this entire world on your story, with side characters and potential for very good plots, but instead of doing anything unique, you just give your main character a kid because its easy and you can write cheap antics with it

and let me tell you, its not even that bad when its a baby, but when they make the kid a teenager, dear LORD you already fucking know how its gonna play out, the teenager is gonna say some shit like "oh gosh, my dad doesn't understand me, why won't he let do things that can potentially get me killed" and then they're gonna have a third act breakup, and then some trouble happens, the parents save them and the teenager goes "oh wow, i really should've believed in you dad, you're such a good father" and then the movie ends with a dance number or some shit

its not even that its bad giving your main characters kids, its the fact that they always do the most basic safe and lazy writing with it, and most of the time that type of storytelling doesn't even fit the story its trying to tell, like no dude, i dont wanna see Nefarious Gru struggling to take care of a toddler for 90 minutes, nor do i wanna see Manfred get overprotective of his teenage daughter and not want her to get with this other mammoth, i wanna see actual interesting adventures since i know these series have potential to be good if they try

por isso que eu gosto de youtuber grande que contrata gente de verdade pra dublarem os videos, tipo o MrBeast e a Glitch Productions, não essas porra de robo dublando meus video

look, this might be a hot take since this was a part of many people's youth growing up, but i just gotta say it, after a certain point i just don't get why people act like this was good, its the most basic "me so quirky" bandkid humor ever concieved, with the punchlines just being random shit or repeating gags that the creator realised stuck to people, and its just not enjoyable unless you're viewing it through rose tinted glasses or just don't really have a high standard for humor

it was funny when a repeating gag only appeared a total of 2-3 times per video and no more, but now with the more recent ones, its kinda obvious that the creator tries to repeat a joke more to replicate the success of his older gags like the muffin or the trains guy

humor is subjective, but this is just what i hate, and i have no disrespect to the people who like it nor the creator, this is just my opinion

its one of these things where it has a handful of extremily funny moments, but finding these is like finding a diamond in a pile of horse shit

when it hits it gets a chuckle out of me, but when it fails it makes me wanna rip every feature in my body capable of making me percieve the world in any way just by witnessing it

its just cynical and bitchy humor, everybody on it is a dipshit, and that can work if the writing is put into the right hands, but in this case it just wasn't, i think theres only like a solid 4 clips from the game and everything related to it that was able to amuse me

the second i try doodling something saying "its just a bubble, its gonna pop someday" i see some shit like this pop up and i feel like my entire career is gonna get replaced because a computer is gonna be objectively cheaper and faster than me at doing it and companies will choose it over artists

now this isn't fully ai, it still needed a 3d base for it to work, but the fact that a good chunk of the workload can be just skipped and ai just renders the rest is scary, theres a lot of mistakes but one day there might not be and it demotivates me so much

like yea, hes missing a lot melanin, but i feel like this is at least decent for me, its not egghead ussop level of white, it didn't turn out as bad as the concept art
