listen, i get these are classics from the internet and all, but come on, these are straight up garbage without the nostalgia goggles

its literally the same 3 jokes, mario but violent, mario but on drugs, mario but hes a pervert (i can't even show the actual thumbnail of the last video due to this), they rarely have any entertainment value aside from the shock and absurd content

this isn't exclusive to Mario specifically, a lot of videogame parodies back then had the same premise and style of humor, but Mario and Nintendo in general were the most prominent ones in the space back then, and i hate them

i wanted to be hopeful, i wanted to think we had a chance, but we all know what talks louder in this day and age is money, and this motherfucker is STACKED

i'm glad i quit this game like 2 months ago, i woulda been sick if i was still playing it and found out about this

not that any of these projects are bad, but come on, they don't fuck with no Tex Avery, no Chuck Jones, no Hanna Barbera, no nothing?

like dude, the golden age of animation is a entire buffet of interesting types of humor, art and direction to pick from, why do they always go with the old rubberhose style?

theres so much to explore, and i feel like creators should pick other styles to work with instead of just going for this one

i wonder how hes gonna feel knowing what kind of person he was portrayed to be the kid version of when he grows up and watches the show

was it badly written? yes, was it stupid? absolutely, was the entire comic an edgefest with 12yo newgrounds user level dialougue? yeah

was it cool? fuck yeah

i don't care if its just hype moments and aura, i don't care if the plot twist was trash, every page to come out of this just looks so sick that i'm more entertained by this than season 5

its fine to wear it when you're wearing something underneath it, but it just looks gross and weird whenever i see someone wear it like a tank top with absolutely nothing underneath

like, a hoodie is made to keep you warm, your entire torso, so why would someone wear a sleeveless hoodie with nothing underneath? do you just like your arms freezing while your chest and belly are warm?

the thing that made me make this post is the fact that some people wear this on a summer weather or any non-cold weather, it doesn't matter if they took the best shower a human being ever has taken in the history of this planet, or if they apply 3 layers of deodorant and body spray, they will always look musty as hell and i don't want to approach them

the one exception i'll make is if people wear it with a t shirt or a long sleeve shirt underneath, if you got your pits out on this shit i'm not speaking to you

seriously i really hope the guy's show doesn't get the same braindead fanbase

sometimes people here just have a snarky attitude with pretty much everything that comes out of this series, and its honestly so negative that i wonder how the people who act like this even manage to get a single smile out on their life

there is a clear difference between actual criticisim and being a miserable motherfucker, and for some reason the latter often gets a ton of upvotes and support because apparently this community forgot that they can have an independent thought while discussing this series

like, what is even the problem here that needed to be pointed out? its not like we have East Blue fatigue or something, the most we've gotten is like 2 specials, the live action and a few campaigns in one piece games nobody gives a shit about, and besides, its a fucking remake, of course its gonna start at the beginning of the series

and somehow, people give --->these types<--- of posts a ton of upvotes even if the thing they're mad about is a measly nitpick or something that is not even bad enough to warrant a full post about

i am not saying this sub doesn't have valid criticism, it definetely has and is the better option compared to the other one piece subs, but we need to stop the circlejerk attitude and form our own opinions

i get that they're sorta popular, but its not like most of the content being put out about them is even that good, especially with that awful game they made

the idea of a team filled with supervillains having to do missions from the government by force is a neat concept, but i always felt like this team's dynamic was never really that interesting to begin with, and the way the concept is used is underwhelming

as for Harley Quinn, i legit don't get why people like her that much when shes acting solo, with the Joker storylines its an interesting view into abusive relationships and how the victim often keep coming back to the abuser by being manipulated into it when they're at their most vulnerable, but when shes acting solo, shes just a goth alt girl on crack whose entire personality is "omg im so fucking crazy", a crazy girl can be an interesting character if put into the hands of a good writer, but unfortunately she just doesn't have that much going for her in terms of setting, story and supporting cast

they are a popular team and character each, but unless they do quality over quantity and don't oversaturate the fuck out of both in the next few years, people are gonna lose interest

gente que faz isso só quer decorar a propia criança, tem zero outra justificativa pra isso, eu não acho gente assim exatamente "escrota" , mas ainda tenho um sentimento de estranheza toda vez que vejo isso acontecer

Look i kind of get the point of why this type of joke started even if its mean spirited, seinen manga has a lot of this stuff and sometimes its just there for shock value and its not handled well (not talking about Berserk, the image is unrelated to what i'm saying)

But come on man, this entire subreddit nowadays is this one fucking "joke", the same shit every day, every post, every comment, it was never funny, just weird

They've genuinely become more cringe than the seinen fans they made the sub to make fun of, and any other joke it had at first is just gone
