Here’s the link to the ROF GUI for those that want to check your ROF. Very easy to use.
Full build, 80% Arms AR15 lower, PSA 11.5” upper with blast forward comp, Redacted Arms Super Safety, Magpul back up sights, KAK Blade brace, Magpul grip, and topped of with a new Viridian MDS25 Green dot. Very easy to stay on Target!
We have success!! Just some test runs with soft points. Rifle had probably only 100 rounds through it previously before the GMR SS. Needs feed ramps polished a bit. It didn’t like the hollow points I also tried. 10 round mag.
Moriarti .308 upper, 80% Arms AR10
Lower, GMR S7 M508 C/V3S Kit AR308 complete kit with CHECKERED cam and V3 straight trigger, Odin Works AR9 adjustable buffer set at @ 6.6 oz’s to start, A5 tube, and A5 spring with 3/4” Cut off. I’ll get it out next week for it first run but for now it passes function testing just fine.
Hey guys, for anyone that needs or is looking for the Odin 9mm adjustable buffers Midway and Brownelles have them for 119.00’and $120.00. Midway ships for free. That’s $20 cheaper than most other places.
So now that I have the Redacted Arms SS running in my 11.5” pistol build I totally forgot about my CMMG .22 conversion kit I have in the safe. My grandsons love the AR with .22! So what the verdict on the CMMG Auto Sear Trip Kit, 22LR AR Conversion Kit? Reviews on their website appear to be mixed. Is it worth the $60? Or should I just pass?
Thanks you
So Viridian isn’t a new player in the optics market but they have been stepping up in a big way in the Pistol and Rifle optics classes. This is the Viridian MDS25 on my 80% Arms AR Pistol. The MDS25 offers ranging for both close up and distance with the unique chevron/dot combo reticle they have developed. This makes this optic very versatile for use on any PCC or an SBR or Small rifle set up. Shake awake brings it on line fast and the control buttons for lighter or dimmer are nice and crisp. The nice big window makes it even easier to stay on target when the fun button is used. It also cowitness very well with your back up sights. I went out yesterday to do some shopping for a few fun parts and now have three local shops carrying Viridian products and from the quality that I’m seeing with this unit I think we’ll be seeing a lot more. Time now to get some more rounds through this!

The GMR is installed in the 80% Arms AR10 lower. Zero issues with the install and I have the upper cut back to the rear pin lug and touched up. Now to toss it together and function test the whole thing.
Not 100%!new to this game but with the trip sled and an SS push button style (which I have in an AR already) on the Matador site it states “may need a rearward limiter” what exactly are we talking about here? A limiter for the trip sled? Bolt Assm., or the SS trip arm?
Thanks for clearing this up for me.
11.5 inch PSA 5.56 upper
80% Arms AR-15 Lower
H3 buffer
Burris optic
Kak blade
And a couple Magpul goodies
Easy install on the Redacted Arms SS and ran perfectly from the get go. No guess work at all. Cut trigger came with the kit.
If you are going to attempt to remove optics screws from your slide whether they are holding on a cover plate or an optic USE HEAT! If you own a soldering iron you have the tool to do this and it take less than a minute. If not you can purchase a cheap wood burning kit from Walmart and do the same thing. Also invest in a set of quality extended Torx or Allen bits. These extended bits keep your thicker driver shaft off your optics housing. Masking tape is also a great guard against contact as well. Heat the screw head with the soldering iron or wood burner ( a pointed tip is best) for a minute. The with the proper tight fitting bit back out the screw. Clean off the old loctite and wipe out the hole and screw with a Q tip and alcohol. It’s that easy and will save you cash and headaches.
Well seeing that another company shows RMR charge handles but then claims they won’t be doing them I found these from Virtuous Concepts. Available in both left, right, or ambi. Multiple mount types and shipped today. I’ll be away for 10 days but when I get back home I’ll get it mounted up and report back.

Looking for insight on if my current JP silent captured system will work? I’m setting up my .308 AR10 to run a GMR M508 kit. I have in that rifle now a JPSCD2-10 kit with all three weights and the red-yellow 110 spring installed. This is the max for the system with what it originally came with so it’s basically an H3 set up with the biggest spring installed. This is in a Carbine length stock and an 18” barrel. I’m just trying to avoid having to switch out the buffer tube to A5 and a new buffer and spring if at all possible. Bolt length is good to go but I need to get a mil spec trigger group and ditch my Hyperfire. Also a little grinding work on the upper.
Thanks for any input.
The locking charging blocks for the Roller Delays are back in stock!! I got mine and the folding charge handle ordered.
