I built these a while back and was good with them for a bit but let’s face it, optic cut slides with no optics just doesn’t cut it. So I got a matching set of Viridian RFX35’s https://viridian.tech/viridian-rfx-35-black-fde and new 1/3 cowitness sights from Night Fision https://www.nightfision.com/product/night-fision-optics-ready-stealth-series-for-sig-sauer.
I direct mounted the RFX35’s with some upgraded screws and used my Real Avid sight pusher to push out the old Angry Bear black JRO sights. After using the JRO’s I can’t in good faith recommend them if you care about your shirts and you want to keep tour wife happy. The design of them rips into your shirts leaving tiny holes all over hence the change to the Tritium Night Fisions. The Viridian RFX35’s are a bottom battery mount but with that they have a super low profile and thin base. These green dots in this SRO style have a nice big window for a great view for quick target acquisition. Shake awake is also standard.

I've only recently seen one holster company making Kydex holsters for single action revolvers and it's a semi universal design but cut out like a wedge. So I decided to try this out for my self. I got on good ol' Amazon and found a cheap Kydex kit and a QLS set up. I then made some delrin blocks and mold helpers and this is what I was able to do. Retention is adjustable and the Kydex has been heated and slightly pushed in around the trigger guard. It pops into place and holds tight but comes out real nice and smooth. Not to bad for my first time.

Partisan Disruptor in hand and ready for the improved Trip Sled when it’s completed.

Full build, 80% Arms AR15 lower, PSA 11.5” upper with blast forward comp, Redacted Arms Super Safety, Magpul back up sights, KAK Blade brace, Magpul grip, and topped of with a new Viridian MDS25 Green dot. Very easy to stay on Target!

We have success!! Just some test runs with soft points. Rifle had probably only 100 rounds through it previously before the GMR SS. Needs feed ramps polished a bit. It didn’t like the hollow points I also tried. 10 round mag.

Lower, GMR S7 M508 C/V3S Kit AR308 complete kit with CHECKERED cam and V3 straight trigger, Odin Works AR9 adjustable buffer set at @ 6.6 oz’s to start, A5 tube, and A5 spring with 3/4” Cut off. I’ll get it out next week for it first run but for now it passes function testing just fine.

So Viridian isn’t a new player in the optics market but they have been stepping up in a big way in the Pistol and Rifle optics classes. This is the Viridian MDS25 on my 80% Arms AR Pistol. The MDS25 offers ranging for both close up and distance with the unique chevron/dot combo reticle they have developed. This makes this optic very versatile for use on any PCC or an SBR or Small rifle set up. Shake awake brings it on line fast and the control buttons for lighter or dimmer are nice and crisp. The nice big window makes it even easier to stay on target when the fun button is used. It also cowitness very well with your back up sights. I went out yesterday to do some shopping for a few fun parts and now have three local shops carrying Viridian products and from the quality that I’m seeing with this unit I think we’ll be seeing a lot more. Time now to get some more rounds through this!
