Skincare advice

I am a 43-year-old Asian woman, and I have never had a skincare routine before. Could you please suggest some basic skincare steps to help make my skin glow?

From an arranged marriage to modern dating at 43. Any other introverts done this?

I’m 43 (F) and separated. I know this might sound completely weird to a lot of people. But in my culture, it’s actually not that uncommon. My past marriage was arranged, so I’ve never actually dated. I have zero experience with it. I’m perfectly fine on my own, but I do occasionally think about companionship for the future. The catch is that I’m a major introvert and tend to be on the sensitive side, so the fast-paced, modern dating world feels a bit daunting.

I’m just curious how other quiet or highly sensitive people navigate this stage of life? What should someone with absolutely no dating background expect after 40? Would love to hear some casual perspectives.

43F | Separated for years with no kids, but he’s still stalling the divorce. What’s the reason?

I’m looking for some honest perspective from the guys here.

My husband and I have been married for 14 years. Our relationship is quite complex, and there’s a lot of history there, so I won’t get into all the messy details. To put it simply, we’ve been emotionally distant, we don't have any kids, and we have actually been living separately for a few years now.

Neither of us initiated a legal divorce during this time. Finally, I have decided it’s time to officially end it and move on. However, he is constantly delaying the process. It’s not like he’s trying to fix the marriage or make things better between us—he's just stalling.

From a guy's point of view, what could be the reason behind this? If we don't have kids to worry about and he doesn't want to work on the relationship either, why drag his feet on the paperwork?

43F, introvert. How do you actually unwind?

Hello everyone!

I am introvert, and a bit socially awkward. Home is definitely my sanctuary. But lately, I find it hard to just exist and relax without feeling like I should be productive. I find it really hard to transition into "rest mode" without overthinking or scrolling. I am also going through a major personal crisis right now, which makes it more difficult for me.

Any advice on how to navigate this and actually find some peace?

I (43F, Bangladesh) am initiating a divorce after 14 years of marriage.

The relationship has been emotionally distant for a long time. We have been living separately for years, and there is very little emotional connection left. My husband is not very involved in the relationship and usually only responds when I reach out. We don't have kids. His family never really accepted me, and I was never able to adjust with them either. Over time, my husband also became more withdrawn and silent.

Even though I am the one taking this decision, I’m finding this phase emotionally very difficult. I feel anxious and mentally overwhelmed, even though I know the marriage has no real future anymore.

I would really appreciate any advice on how to cope with this transition.
