Unlike ducks, Cormorants feathers aren’t fully waterproof, which is why you often see them standing dramatically with wings spread open to dry. I took a bunch of photos of them when I was on a trip to Kerala recently. Felt like posting :)

It is nearly a 100 years old food chain brand originated in Kolkata in the colonial times. My 94 year old grandmother fondly remembered eating there when she visited Kolkata in the 50s. They bake their own bread and have amazing sandwiches and coke floats. Very expensive and they’re setting up their second branch in Inorbit Mall apparently.
