Got tangled in our footie goals.

They’re stored out of the way now. I’d bought my partner a hedgehog house to try and entice one because she loves them. Put him in there to recover but he hasn’t used it since. I’m going to put it deeper in the hedge. That was in June. There’s one visiting every night to eat what falls from the bird table suet, peanuts and dried mealworms. I’ve put water down.

Nelly is 3 now and still best mates with the 6yr old.

Such a sweet natured dog. Great off the lead. Loves other dogs and all people. Chief greeter at the local pub. Very confident and you don’t have to worry about her other than eliciting treats.

Partner’s in a mood after a long day in work. So I’m being positive.

Me- The 6yr old had a fish cake for tea and smashed it.
Nic- Stop buying him them from the Chippie. They’re cheaper in the super market.
Me- They make them themselves they are massive and £3.50. He had garden peas out of the freezer with it.
Nic- They are deep fried.
Me- He has them twice a month.
Nic- Well he’s had once in July and twice in August.
Me- That’s 1.5 times a month.
Nic- I fucking hate you.
I think she meant it though.

Not a bad find. There’s some corrosion but I think an artist who uses metal might like it.

Street preacher was harassing the public outside Chester Tescos the other day.

He had a microphone and a woman helping him by handing out leaflets, she wouldn't give me one.
Me- Get a life mate instead of standing here annoying people.
Him- I'm not doing anything illegal. It's freedom of speech.
Me- So is me standing here talking to you.
Her- He's preaching the gospel!
Me- Does the gospel teach anything about personal hygiene? Because he is disgusting. (Greasy balding hair, trainers the charity shop would bin and black sh*t stopper trackies with suspicious stains Her- How would you like it if someone came up to you and said that!
Me- They wouldn't because I'm clean.
Her- He is washed in the blood of the lamb!
Me- That's not a bad idea it couldn't make him any worse. What church are you representing?
Her- (hides fliers) We are a home church.

We went to a cool shop in Rhyl.

Loads of different toys and collectibles. He had a great selection of foreign packs and the prices were reasonable for retail. Would recommend. The 6yr old got some singles and Chinese fat packs. The top 3 are mine.

Advice on an easy pick up.

t wasn’t that easy I had to carry it 157 steps. Probs 20k+. I could look it up but could anyone who knows tell me if it’s worth stripping this or weigh in as is? I know it’s what my times worth but will it make much difference? Reselling as is might be a better option but don’t want to deal with people. Thanks

Advice on finding someone to list items for a percentage.

Question, is it a thing where people buy stuff in charity shops, flea markets, car boots, etc. know a bit about, get some good stuff that's got a good potential good markup, but haven't got the time or inclination to actually list and sell it? Is there people who provide the services? Is it a common arrangement? Is there a subreddit to find someone locally who will list and sell the items on your behalf for a percentage of the sales price. I was thinking about asking family friends if there was a teenager under 16 who can’t get an hourly rate job but wanted to make some extra income as a side hustle but that can come with reliability issues. Are there any more straightforward options. Any recommendations would be appreciated. Thank you.

I’ve got a friend who deserves some subs if you’re interested. I’ll follow back.

My mate at work is passionate about his new D&D venture and potential income stream. If you can be arsed please subscribe to his YouTube channel. It’s got low enough numbers that he gets excited when he gets a new one. If it helps motivate you he just had to put his beloved dog down because it bit his kid. The kid is fine. He earns less money than he could to teach teenagers with tough lives. You will get good karma. No need to watch it just like and subscribe. Thanks.

I looking for some advice on making mystery packs.

A bit long but I’d appreciate feedback if you’ve got the time.
I’ve asked similarl stuff before and there were comments about scalping and trying to rip off kids by flipping bulk. I’m not looking to make a profit. I’ve got a regular job and grown up money and not into buying anything above RRP/MSRP.
I’ve got a 6yr old who is into Pokémon whether he liked it or not. If we get any sealed product he can open one pack a day. I’ve bought him some Chinese Gem set boxes that have a great £ to excitement ratio.
I’ve got the first few sets complete from when I was a kid. And some Gym and Neo that I’ve at card shows for modern sealed and singles for the boy. I can have any swops or hits he doesn’t like but have to trade them for vintage cards. I’ve still been accused of giving him a bad deal.
He wanted to get cousins and friends involved so we made packs to hand out using our bulk. I order some cheap Japanese cards on Cardmarket to put a hit in each pack.
He’s given out loads and made new mates. We organised a trading meet-up at the local pub on a Sunday 4-5pm in the beer garden. Went for invitation only and 7 out of 12 kids made it plus all their families.
The event was a hit and the parents all said their main problem was finding sealed product. The only place in our village is the local post office that has single Japanese packs at 3x the price or less popular modern packs marked up.
What could I fairly charge for repackaged cards? I’m sure they would be willing to stock them and the demand is definitely there.
I don’t want to make any money but if I could cover the cost I could make loads more packs.
Any money made means I can put better hits in. Hopefully working up to some really cool chase cards. Buying singles at wholesale prices I rekon I can make cool packs than the new releases.
Here’s some examples of what I’m thinking. There’s 21 cards in each pack. They’ll be advertised as for kids collections with cards from a variety of sets, guaranteed V Ex or better and holos. These probably average £2 a pack to make.
I’d appreciate any sort of constructive criticism, what you’d pay for the packs, ideas or recommendations or if it’s even a good idea. Thanks.

TLDR- Help with making mystery packs please.

Not intended as self promotion. I won’t post any links or answer dms.

Edit- That would be 12 packs shown but without the more common cards.

Small appliance conversation I just had with my partner.

Nic- We need a new kettle.
Me- What’s up with that one?
Nic- The toaster is broken.

Bit of filler- She wondered why I was confused. The current kettle does work. I don’t eat a lot of toast.

I hope karma still works if you have to tell people about it.

On the way home I saw a lad walking on the grass verge in a Shell shirt and gave him a lift to work.
That's got to be worth some good karma in this heat. I was that pleased with myself I looked it up. 17 minute walk or 2 minutes in the car.

Not sure where this stands with rule 12. No Personal Success & Achievement. My only previous honour or decoration was BSC (Bronze Swimming Certificate).

My mate is back home in Liverpool and out on the pull. Just sent him this.

I ran it through a TTS and had it in a nature documentary voice. I don’t know how to add an audio file. Here’s the script anyway because I’m really happy with it.

Narrator (in rich, measured David Attenborough tones, with gentle wonder and gravitas):
Here, in the dim, pulsing heart of the urban watering hole, we observe the predator in his natural environment. The bars are full tonight.
He moves with quiet purpose through the throng, eyes sharp. His prey? The Skuzzer. Abundant at this time of year, especially in the summer heat. They find the watering hole irresistible.
He scans the herd with practised care, searching for one who seems particularly scatty… or perhaps carries those tell-tale extra-enlarged lips. Ah — there. A likely target.
Using his unremarkable size to his advantage, he slips unnoticed into the very centre of the group. The prey, disarmed by his harmless appearance, lets down her guard.
At the crucial moment… Jack pounces. He flashes the bag.
‘I’m at me ma’s at the minute — have you got your own place? I’ve got loads more of this…’
(soft, knowing pause)
And so the ancient dance continues.

Here, the following morning, we see the triumphant male emerging from a three-up, one-wide new-build dwelling. Note the bald tyres proudly displayed on the white Audi A3… and the magnificently overgrown metre-square lawn.
He zips up his trousers as he steps out the door, looking delightfully disoriented and severely dehydrated. Yet already his eyes are turning toward the horizon. For he must hunt again tonight.

Applin page so far in my budget modern binder.

I know some are not related but they felt right on that page until they get bumped over for a new addition.
