How Many times have you listened to the new album already?
Ive been listening to the entire album about 4-8 times a day for the past near 7 days 😅
Anyone else just have it playing on repeat?

Song Ranking: Each tier is organized by album release, and song order on album. For example, Lune, Reptile, and Smiles would be at the top if it was ordered.
Album Ranking: ordered, Left to Right: Best to Worst. For Example, P3 > P5 > Jugg
Just my opinions, I already know Imma catch Hell Below for my opinion of Froggin' Bullfish. I love you love it, idk why it just has never fully clicked with me as much.
I could see any or all of these songs on APWD bumping up a tier over time. I just don't know if I can quite yet put any of them on par with Lune, Smiles, Reptile, Satellites, or any others in Eargasmic tier. But hey at one point Satellites was probably in "good" tier for me, before it just clicked. The beauty of periphery songs is they always have a chance of just clicking with the brain out of nowhere and going from good to WOW.
First of all to the boyos: great record. You set out to make the record you wanted to make, and you killed it. There is not a single weak track on this album.
I have listened to the album probably 10-15 times now in the past 2 days, and have hit the point of being able to sing along with a lot of the choruses. Again, there is not a single weak song on the album.
That said, I think it lands for me somewhere in the bottom 3 of albums for me. And here is why:
Periphery doesn't have a bad song. All of their songs are at least "Great" to me. But sometimes, some songs hit that level of high euphoric bliss of just being indescribably good.
P1 - Letter Experiment
P2 - Luck as a Constant
Jugg: Heavy Heart, Alpha, Rainbow Gravity, Bad Thing, Omega, Stranger Things
P3 - Marigold, Flatline, Absolomb, 💦LUNE💦
P4 - Reptile, Smiles, Sentient Glow, Satellites
P5 - WIldfire, Atropos, Wax Wings, Dying star, Zagreus, Dracul Gras
For me I think APWD has a bunch of great songs, and even a few I think that are a bit above great, but not a single song for me on this record stands out yet as that euphoric level of experience I get from some of these other songs listed above. I think the album excels at a lot of things, and in a lot of ways it is the next iteration and improvement (hello Spencer's vocals holy moley).
Overall, I am happy they made the record they wanted, I appreciate something a little different from them, and it will have a special spot for me still. I just kind of hope that this album is a 1-off for short but punchy songs through and through, and in the future we get some more epic euphoric noodlyriffage we know and love. If not, well, everything they create is gold anyways, so Ill be here for it.
So yeah, APWD is bottom 3 album for me from them, but this band is the GOAT so that isn't saying much.
S: P3, P5, Juggernaut
A+: P4
A: P2 APWD
A-: P1
B: Clear, Icarus
P.S. Just realized Goon and Lune rhyme and I dont think that is a coincidence 💦
Asking because I'll be moving from Church & Bedroom guitarist to doing corporate gigging soon and I would love to figure out how to get this all setup. I already own a Helix LT, but am not sure if it can be used with a Macbook and like Reaper to control the Presets by linking to a track. Was considering a QC Mini due to the easy size, but read another thread of the midi controller stuff not working well.
If LT doesnt work for this, would I be better off looking at Axe FX or something?
I'll start off: "You'll never be happy..."
