HoloMapper V0.3 Update Delayed

This weeks update will be delayed for a few days.

The upcoming update will include Spout and NDI input/output.

During extensive testing, I noticed that some video types with certain encodings can cause major issues with playback. So we are trying to change HoloMappers video encoder to a proprietary encoder.

Due to this migration attempt, the V0.3 update will be delayed until middle of next week.

Process of Projection Mapping on Pokémon Cards

Basic process rundown,

​

- take picture of the card

- upload it, and duplicate it a few times (one layer for each color)

- chromakey the color, then invert it to only show that color

- repeat for each layer

- apply animations and colors to each

I recently started developing a Projection Mapping software (HoloMapper on Steam).

Once the Steam Frame is out, I'll try to get it going in VR!
