Whether it be through selfies, speaking as if INTJs are the only ones in the spectrum who experience depression or trying to project their own felt sense of grandeur of how they see their intellect as an authority rather than a tool, people here constantly talk about their image, which well, is odd to see from INTJs.
But this sub has became the perfect example as to why saying that you are a MBTI type is illusion, because in truth you are not one singular MBTI type, this is under assumption that life exists alike a cartoon where you just wear the same outfit and have the same attitude for eternity...everything is ratio, we use different cognitive functions towards different people, places and objects. You're an ENTJ towards your dog, an ESFP towards your nephews and nieces, an INFJ during a game of D&D, etc. We can never exactly spot the MBTI type we emulate, which is why it's best to view MBTI under its cognitive functions instead, as one singular chemistry that we utilize through as much as the versatility in our functions expand us to, which all comes from learning.
People see the INTJ type as the perfect badge to represent themselves as someone who is "more than meets the eye", it's a similar approach to how false INTPs type themselves because they view their personality through their academic accomplishments rather than what's innate and instinctual to them, they are academically superior so they "simply must be an INTP.".
Please be weary about what you trust, wisdom becomes hindered by judgement but we all still hold enough bias to question, so question everything :] maybe the sub will change once questions are pressed.

I was told that the best way to live is to be myself, but who is “me”?
If I just say “me”, I don't feel good, I feel trapped, I feel as if by saying the word “me” I am demanding something that I truly don't want.
If I just say “I am me”, I feel nothing, me being me has no establishment, for me being me has nothing to do with me but only matters for others, it's as if the words “I am” go straight through my body and into another. That is who “I am”, what others want me to be.
Thusly, I am “the”; I am always expected to place myself before anything, but I understand that it's always pointless to, which is why I am “the”, I am pointless and merely revolve myself around what I am forecfully attached to, but only because that is who “I am”..I am THE person, THE hikikomori, THE male, "THE", always the same no matter the role I fulfill.
But when I think, daydream, that is when “I am not”, in fact, there is no “I am”, rather, “it just is” in all of its randomness and uncertainty.
I never have to expect myself to “place myself” before my imaginations; my imaginations are instantaneous and complete within its own vapour, I do not have to drag my physical body like the corpse it is, everything I could ever want, is, even if said "wants" don't really satisfy me, my imagination is the place to be, not the person to become. I may not have the “Me” to enjoy the physical pleasure of the “what is”, but unlike others, the “what is” is my home, not the “I am”, so even though my “me” is plastic, my mind and my world is always evolving in the shell of the "person that I am".
Suffering will remain as the world hurts me for rejecting “what is” by making me “who I am”.
I understand what it is to be “me”; futile.
And so “I am” free of obligation, and the motions of me become untethered in the maddening embrace of creativity, unending, repeating, cyclical, feral in its silence and stillness, it eats me into the rejection of waste that I am now, but perhaps if I love something so miniscule as "myself" in a world that punishes the lost so gravely then perhaps I can feel what true love is; comfort.
Sacrifice brings glory, suffering cherished.
