I'm a fan, obviously, but man - I wish we got more chances see this, more serious side of the man. Am I alone?

I'm watching Queen of The Ring - solid flick, and very interesting topic; really enjoyed Jim's performance too - surprised me how good he was, actually. But does anyone remember which episode (and which podcast) he reviews it? I'd love to listen back. Also want to learn more about Jack Pfefer!

Edit: Actually screw this - I've just reached the part where Billie Wolf rips off Scot Hall's "bad times don't last" speech. Egregious.

My dad was a B5 fan, and a bit of a tech geek - and I remember he had, I think, a piece of software in the late 90s that allowed him to set a B5 theme on his PC. I think it included images for the desktop, and character profiles. All I can solidly remember was that it had voice clips from the show as indicators of certain activities, such as Lennier saying "Initiating 'getting the hell out of here maneuver" when the PC shut down, or Franklin saying "We've got a problem" when there was an error message (I remember once him getting a virus and hearing that refrain, repated continously for 35 minutes before dad lost his temper and ripped the speakers from the wall. 😂)

I was only a kid, but was this a purchasable bit of licensed software, or something he cobbled together himself? Ringing bells for anyone else?

This is hard, even for me, but - the Library of Congress taps on your door and says you can preserve one episode for all time, but you have to erase one from all history to balance it all out.

What you going for?

I'm choosing to save 'Passing Through Gethsemane' - it's my favourite episode and, because not hugely tied up with the 5yr arc, it stands well on its own.

I'm ditching 'Walkabout' though. Despite the Swedish Meatballs, this episode sells Stephen down the river, IMHO. I always felt this episode turned Franklin in to the cast's 90's "token" character. He'd always been an equal with Sheridan, Ivanova and the rest, now he was just...less than. The character recovered quickly, but the episode? Not so much....

Is it ever revealed how long Marcus was in the Rangers before we meet him in S3? He talks about joining 6 months after his brother dies (I think, feel free to correct me), then mentions taking a year to grasp the fundamentals of the Minbari language, and I just got curious is all.

Just clocked that, when Arthur starts inventing his own 'Mystery Passengers' he names one Mrs Badcrumble - Eddie/Suzy Izzard's old music teacher! 😂

I'm on a rewatch, and I've just got to Season six's Paradise Lost, where everyone's favourite villain Mayybourne provides SG1 with an address to an Ancient planet. The team goes for a quick visit, find a device/door that needs a key - and Carter scans the door with a hand-scanner that I can only describe as a tri-corder which reveals a power source within the door...

Is this a scanner i should have spotted before? What is it? How have I missed it?
