Possible gear shift actuator replacement

I have a Kia Niro 2019 Hybrid. Approximately once a day, when I'm at a red light, waiting for more than 1 minute, when I release the brake, there is a loud grinding noise for around 4 seconds, the car doesn't move during that time, then the noise stops and the car move forward. To avoid this kind of problem at red light, I put it in neutral and it doesn't happen. It seems that it doesn't happen at the first red light but after driving for a while.

I went to the Kia dealer, he charged me $256 for diagnostic, and told me that they will replace the gear shift actuator, and hopefully it will work. The cost is $2,357.

I am planning to find a non-Kia garage that would do it for cheaper.

Is there something different I should do?

Service charge 18%

Tonight, I went to a restaurant and the manadatory service charge was 18%. I hesitated between leaving a tip or no. I finally selected 5% as a tip. If I didn't leave a tip, would have been right?

I read online in several places that ECNL and maybe ECNL-R is not worth it, because it costs so much so even with a soccer scholarship, the benefit is not great.

I think this can be true for a parent who pays for 6 years of ECNL or ECNL-R (from U13 to U18), but in my case, I paid only 1 year of DPL, and then for the last 2 remaining years before college, my daughter is going to do the tryout for a club with ECNL and ECNL-R. In theory, she should be accepted for ECNL-R and not for ECNL. So in total, I would have paid for 3 years of expensive soccer on a total of 6 maximum. Would the youth soccer expenses be worth it (financially) if she gets a soccer scholarship?

I had several Shopping Rewards credited and several Shopping Rewards ineligible with Capital One Shopping.

Do you think I would get more rewards credited if I used only my PC, or only my Android or it doesn't matter?

Update: here are the latest examples of my last purchases:

DoorDash: ineligible, maybe because I used $10 credit with Chase credit card?

eBay: ineligible, maybe because I used eBay gift card to pay?

Temu: pending, maybe because I used a Capital One Venture credit card?

Walmart and Bed Bath and Beyond: credited, maybe because I used a Capital One Venture credit card?

Green Chef: not appearing in the Rewards & Savings Dashboard, but appearing in Shopping trips. I paid usiing a Amex credit card, not a Capital One credit card.

We'll flew from Paris and we will arrive at 4:55pm at Philadelphia airport, then go to our hotel "Sonesta Select Philadelphia Airport". Next morning, at 11:25am, we have a flight to Miami. That means that from around 6pm to 9pm, we will be free to visit Philadelphia. My 14 and 15 year old daughters never went there. What best things do you recommend to visit in only 3 hours? Is there a special guided tour to take? I don't mind paying for one if that's worth it in my case where I'll have no car.

LATEST UPDATE:We wll arrive on August 7th. I'm sure that we will be too tired to walk so I'd prefer to take the 1.5 hour Big Bus Tour at night.

The bus meeting point is at 12th and Filbert streets (side entrance of the Philadelphia Marriott Downtown). After dropping off our luggage at Sonesta airport, is it easy (and safe) to take public transportation from The Sonesta airport hotel to the meeting point? How long will it take round trip? I'd love to eat at a nice restaurant but because time will be short, where should I go to eat a good Philly cheesesteak close to the meeting point?
