Other than Epic, which unlocks certain generator mods, does the color / rarity of gear matter at all or just the stats? Like, if i've got a purple helmet at CR 119 and a green helmet drops with CR 121 and the Vitalization and Dominance are a little better on the green one than the purple one (and I'm a controller), it makes more sense to go with the green one, right?
about 20 minutes ago I heard a loud jet that sounded military so I looked up and caught what I think was an F16 Fighting Falcon / F16 Viper [edit: I was wrong it was a Boeing EA-18G Growler] maneuvering in for a landing at the place I can't mention without some megathread warning. I live in one of the flight paths for takeoffs and landings, usually just under some of the Southwest takeoffs. Cool to have a view of one of these!
I think the answer is about to be no, this doesn't work, but let me ask anyway . . . . . .
in DCUO in a Raid or Alert if I get knocked out (killed / wiped out) during a boss battle taking place in a dedicated room and I "Flee" to the beginning of the board and I'm locked out of the boss encounter until everyone is knocked out and Flees, if as a Controller I keep using the thing to boost the power of everyone else, does that benefit the people still in the boss battle? Or if as a Healer if I'm doing heals from outside the boss room, does that benefit those still in combat in the boss battle?
This just happened, was in a tier-3 raid where many of us were just getting one-shotted but there must have been a few strong members of the group, they only occasionally got wiped, and occasionally there was a full group wipe.
I was fleeing and then I couldn't get back in, so I was spamming the thing to give power to the group, but now I'm wondering if that was useless? If it works from outside the boss room, the right thing would have been for me to flee and buff from outside, but if that doesn't work the right move would have been to stay in the room knocked out and see if eventually someone could res me. Thanks!
I started playing DCUO a couple years ago, killed my older two characters and just made one I like. Mental Controller, are these the right things to be using, or a right combination? I want to mostly PvE but I'm getting as much PvP gear as piossible for some PvP too, only one armory / build so this is for both. Thank you!
