Currently planning a 5-7 night trip to Oahu for late July/early august, dates non-negotiable bc school. Booking with Costco or directly with Hotel for best deals.

Traveler Ages: 32, 55, 60, 82

Need to Know:

• Grandma never really been a beach person but lately she’s been very pushy about visiting Hawaii and I want to WOW her while also keeping things light.
• Traveler 55 loves the ocean and would prefer immediate beach access (Waikiki beachfront)
• Grandma can walk, just gets tired easier now. She’s a stubborn trooper and will push herself but we’re gonna have her use a walker to ease our concerns.

Considering:

• Sheraton Waikiki , Royal Hawaiian , Moana Surfrider
• Hilton Hawaiian Village (rainbow tower) bc it seems easily explorable with more to do onsite

Activities:

• Pearl Harbor, Byodo-In Temple, Self-guided island circle tour.

Questions:

1. Which hotel stay do you recommend?
2. Can traveler 60 and 82 safely go out on their own to walk around in downtown Waikiki?
3. What precautions come to mind when traveling with older folks?
4. Other senior-friendly activity/locatation suggestions?
