Me and Anthony dive DEEP into the strength, tenacity, and resilience of HOVR investors. Hope you enjoy!
the bleeding just won't stop. $spcx sliced right through $120 today, closing down at $119.85.
everyone swore that the $135 ipo price was the ultimate support level, but we are way below that now. we are looking at a massive drop from the $225.64 high we saw just a few weeks ago.
the market cap has officially bled down to around $1.57 trillion. volume was still heavy today, with over 57 million shares changing hands.
word is that cathie wood and ark invest have been aggressively buying this dip, but the rest of the market seems terrified. plus, there is a lockup expiration coming up after their next earnings report where 20% of outstanding shares will become available to trade.
so who is still catching this falling knife? what price are you actually stepping in at, or are we heading back to double digits?
A month ago I argued SpaceX was probably a wonderful business but nowhere near a fair price. Since the post-IPO peak of $225.64 on 16 June the stock has plummeted, briefly slipping below its $135 IPO price. The obvious question for this sub: after such a quick fall, does it make the stock cheap?
The problem is the price relative to what the business earns. At roughly $1.8 trillion, on a conventional 20x, SpaceX would need something like $90 billion of annual net income to justify the valuation — roughly what Apple earns. It instead made $4.69B in revenue against a $4.28B loss for Q1 2026.
The strongest bull case is the Amazon comparison, and it deserves a fair hearing: when a company is investing heavily, accounting charges that spending against today's profit — so its reported earnings understate how much value it's actually building. But Amazon funded its build out of AWS — a cash machine hidden under the capex. If you remove SpaceX's growth spending, there's no cash cow. That's the whole difference between reinvesting your profits and spending other people's money.
The tell I find most interesting: the sell-side has started arguing SpaceX should buy Tesla. Keep watching this one.
My verdict: wonderful business, still not a fair price. Going against a Musk monopoly has its risks for investors.
Where does this sub land — is there an earnings path that justifies ~$1.8T, or is this a story stock value tools just can't price?
Article attached, please enjoy the read and have a good weekend.
The market is like an excitable dog on a very long leash in New York City, darting randomly in every direction. The dog's owner is walking from Columbus Circle, through Central Park, to the Metropolitan Museum. At any one moment, there is no predicting which way the pooch will lurch. But in the long run, you know he's heading northeast at an average speed of three miles per hour. What is astonishing is that almost all of the market players, big and small, seem to have their eye on the dog, and not the owner.
the market can remain irrational longer than you can remain solvent
Can we go to 1.20 area? Sure can… will we? Nobody knows other than macro-Gods … either way, IHS forms and we up again

Hey all. Thanks for joining this community, where people come to express their dreams, frustrations, and hopes.. This company is the next conglomerate company of the future. I believe one day, we will have a million people on mars. I also believe, even though valuation for this company is high now, in several years from now, this company will be a cash cow.
