Portland Burger was my second stop for Portland Mercury Burger Week 2026.

Mambo #5 (♫ A little bit of Mango in my life ♪):

1/3 lb seasoned Pacific NW 100% beef patty topped with mango-citrus slaw, pepper jack cheese, crispy fried jalapeños, a mango BBQ drizzle, mango sauce, house sauce, and onion.

I really enjoyed the heft of this burger, and the thickness of the buns. Unfortunately, I felt that the flavors were a bit muted --- nothing really stood out when everything was put together. Instead, the flavors and textures were a bit reminiscent of egg salad from a nice cookout.

CowboyBeez Burger: All beef patty with sharp & pepper jack cheese, Black Forest bacon, grilled jalapeños, frizzled onions, sriracha mayo, and our sweet and bold barbecue sauce.

This burger was delicious --- and filling. The spice builds as you go along, and the bacon is cooked to perfection. I loved the crispy onions they added to it. I will be sad when it leaves the menu!

Burger Week 2026 Map

I hope this is allowed, as this is one of my favorite restaurants here in downtown Portland. They recently found out that one of their trusted staff members was stealing from them, and it put them in a situation where they are struggling to pay bills, make rent, etc. They posted a GoFundMe this week, asking the community for help. It's heartbreaking, as they just lost their food truck in a fire a handful of years ago as well. Please donate, or go by their business and order a beverage or some food! I would hate to see them close down!

I only recently started singing this at karaoke, but it has been my top favorite Ari song for many, many years. :3

We were able to choose --- got mostly vegan, as we both love the vegan pepperoni. The olive-heavy one is great! A little sweet. One was just a veggie slice and another a chicken with veggies. A good deal, honestly! The two boxes together are at the end. :3

General Tso's chicken (from the brand Aplenty), broccoli, and garlic rice. It slapped!

Black Forest ham wrapped around pepperjack cheese, cucumber slices with balsamic vinegar, bread from a local bakery, cottage cheese, and bleu cheese stuffed olives.

Just felt munchy and happy. Made a happy little snack plate. 😊

12 mini cupcakes, 4 different flavors. $6.99. I'm always so stoked to get one of these boxes! The carrot cake cupcakes were definitely my fave.
