I bought a new A16 ipad yesterday and I noticed with basic tasks it starts to get hot on the back. Is this normal?

A couple of years ago, I purchased Affinity Designer 2 with a Windows license. I’ve recently switched to a Mac and was wondering if there’s a way to use my existing license on the Mac.

I’m not even sure if Affinity Designer 2 is still available for purchase, especially now that the newer version of Affinity is available for free. So I was wondering if it’s possible to transfer or exchange my existing Windows license for the current Mac version rather than having to purchase anything again.

Has anyone been in a similar situation or knows if this is possible?

Any advice would be greatly appreciated thanks!

If you are a artist id love to know your experience using a ipad for your digital art. I am looking into getting a ipad to basically be my digital sketchbook/notebook. But not sure which is a better option, which has better accurate colors and drawing experience. also, long lasting. i dont mind the size and no more than $400 (will be buying refurbished)

My #1 use will be using multiple creative softwares for school/work/creative projects, also will use for taking notes/drawing like a digital notebook in the tablet mode with stylus

Budget is around $800, i dont mind the if its on the heavier side and bigger screen

Top choices currently are: lenovo yoga 71 16, thinkpad L13 yoga, asus , microsoft surface laptop studio

and top brands considering are lenovo, asus, dell

I’m deciding between getting an ipad or getting a macbook (or another laptop). If I go with an iPad, it would mainly be a digital sketchbook and notebook for school, Procreate, and organizing ideas since I don’t like using paper. I don’t mind the size of the iPad, and I don’t need the newest model as long as it supports apple pencil. I’d be buying refurbished.

If I go with a MacBook it would fully replace my current laptop will use for all my design programs and games. my current one which still works but I’m not sure how long it will last . ive also looked at dell 2‑in‑1 laptops, but I’ve heard they can have hinge issues over time so i’m unsure about that option. If you’ve used an iPad or MacBook for school and creative work, or bought refurbished apple devices, I’d love to hear how they held up.

Hi I noticed that the people I talk to I never stay in touch with like texting. I thought a couple reasons 1. it's a more situational relationship like if we don't see each other daily we won't talk 2.we aren't as close as we i thought 3. i should reach out first or 4. there is something i need to fix about myself

Im actively trying to improve my social skills and I am surrounded by people who are welcoming to me but I find myself nervous to speak up or I speak low and sometimes mumble my words or shrink myself (as someone else mentioned to me). Right now, I am working on self-confidence I do affirmations in the mirror, practice being in the moment, push myself to talk to new people and start a conversation everyday (some have definitely been awkward) and in counseling.
