I play 40k and Kill Team. My girlfriend wanted to try to get into Miniature Games with me. Thought it would be best to start with something small like Underworlds. Its also a game ive always heard very good stuff about. And ive always wanted some AoS stuff. However, havent been able to find good explanations on what we would need.

We were looking at the new Spitewood box. Since it comes with cards, tokens, playmat, book and models. I love the Dwarfs. She liked the Kurnothi. Is this enough? Or do we need to get something else?

If everything goes well. I liked the Sons of Vermont and Skabbiks Plaguepack. While she liked the Dread Pageant and the Blade Coven. What would we need to make these teams work? Ive seen we might have to get new updated cards?

Alternatively, theres still a box of Deathgorge in my lfgs. I like the Idoneth. She likes the Thricefold. Plus it comes with extra mission cards and extra playmat. Is this a better next step? After Spitewood.

Been thinking about acquiring a couple Citys of Sigmar minis. But still unsure has to what paintscheme to use.

From the little information i have found, i am leaning alot towards Greywater.

But please break them down abit for me. Make the case for your city of choice. As well as the groups within the faction.

Also see a couple in the transfer sheets whos name i cant find? And are there any not in the sheets?

Wanna hear both sides

Returning to the game after what must have been a good couple years. I left halfway threw Panacony, while waiting for the next update. Only redownloaded a couple times to collect free rewards and do random summons, when i heard smthg great was being given out.

The first team is my main and honestly only operational team. The others r ideas i had of what to build next back then. But i have already forgotten most of what i had in mind. How should i build these teams? Looking at the characters i have available. Any new team ideas? Anything in specific i should summon for? Been told to summon for Evernight rn. And overall, anything i should know? After such a long time.

None of my 5 stars have any duplicates. While my 4 stars, i have maxed duplicates on Pela, Lynx and Gallagher.

Looking to kitbash a custom character, and these rare and underrated pauldrons might give a certain uniqueness.

I understand these pauldrons are a variation of the Mark 8 Errant Pattern Power Armour. But there are very few images of it. And some images even depict em mixed into older patterns of power armor.

Is there any kit with access to these pauldrons? Besides the Victrix Honour Guard kit. From time to time i see pics of old firstborn models, and sometimes one has these pauldrons. Anyone knows all kits that possess these pauldrons?

Was looking into starting AoS, since ive always been interested, and my LGS is on an AoS discount event.

The SbGl is a faction i might be interested in, having always loved necromancy in most fantasy universes and games ive played.

However, im not interested in too-bat-like monstrositys like Vargheists, nor Zombies. Maybe if they get a good refresh.

But i am rlly interested in hords of skeletons with vampire elite squads and heroes, maybe a dragon. Also for sure wanna use Lauka Vai and Sekhar, maybe Neferata. Would this be a viable playstyle?

I dont see many on foot vampire elite units alike the Crimson Court and the Askurgan Trueblades. Also dont see a skeleton archers squad. Will they expand on this type of units in future releases? Would the image attached be a solid start?

Always wanted to get into AOS, and recently my LGS has started a 15% discount on all AOS products, which is an opportunity i think im gonna take. Only looking at the big box sets they have, to get the best bang for my buck. And they do seem to have a fair variety of em. From several Spearheads, Vanguards, Starter Sets, Army Sets and even a couple of those big christmas boxs.

What would u guys advice has the best option to start?

Not really a big fan of Stormcast tbh, tho im sure once i find a Stormhost with a good colorscheme and lore, that will be mitigated. But i do love the Skaven, the Citys and the Kruleboyz! Put up images of a couple boxs that caught my eye, but if u have any other suggestions, they r welcome!

Looking to get into AOS, could anyone explain the differences between these 2? They look identical to me, in both price and contents.

Was taking a while off, to try to chew throu my pile of shame. Paint and organize what i want to keep. Give away and sell what i dont. Among which, i have this masterpiece of a model, that i just adore, working on it next. But i seem to remember there being some weird stuff around it. Lets discuss, i wanna hear about it.

Whats up with this model? When was it available? Has it ever come back? Why hasnt it come back? When will it come back? How good is he? Why does GW do this?

Recently when looking at the Awakening Empire Necron Map, found myself wondering about the Atun Dynasty. Dont think ive ever heard about em, and cant find much if any lore.

They appear to have a very unique color scheme, and one of biggest awakened empires so far, only behind the Sautekh and Charnovokh, arguably matching the Oruscar. They appear way too big for so little lore.

However, in other necron maps, they dont show up at all? Does anyone know more? Who are they? Whats their lore? Any more pictures of their color scheme?

Hi, i was recently looking into acquiring a Baal Predator. Having never even seen one irl i had a couple questions, since i havent been able to find much info online about it.

What would be the major differences between this model of predator and the standart model? Looking at the poor images i have been able to find of the sprue, the only thing i quickly spot r the blood angels themed decorations. Is that all? How many decorations does it have? What other models could come out of this sprue? What is the kitbash potential with newer models?

Any information or ideas r welcome! Thanks in advance!

What do yall expect or foresee for the future of these models?

Just like how all Firstborn r being replaced by Primaris, i fear that the old Castaferrum dreadnoughts r destined to be replaced by newer Redemptor models.

But what abt these iconic models? What do u figure will happen to stuff like Murderfang and Bjorn? Will they remain forever as the last remaining examples of Castaferrum, or will they get a new Redemptor version?

Recently have been getting into the Carmine Blades. And there is great potential here for more books and short storys.

Their lore is unique and fascinating: Their recent reforging from the Swords of Haldroth. Their inner conflict to accept their new Legions traditions. Their relationship with their Feral Homeworld of Haldroth and the influence that can come from it. How they r called savages among the Blood Angels Sucessors, but havent seen em compared to chapters like the Flesh Tearers or Knights of Blood.

All of it leading me to imagine em as a mix of the Emperors Spears or Space Wolves with the Blood Angels, which i just find too cool. Overall i wish there was more lore to them.

Anyone has more tidbits about em? Prehaps some short story i havent found? Any information about em that cant be found online in wikis and such?

(Ik the last image is Corbulo from the Blood Angels, but his unique paint scheme just happens to match the Carmine Blades perfectly, and there isnt much artwork of em.)

Recently been looking into building a couple dreadnoughts, and while looking for inspiration stumbled into a couple pieces of sword wielding dreadnought artwork. But this doesnt seem to be in any dreadnought kit. Outside of the Galactus Custodes dreadnought.

Any sword for dreadnoughts available? Has anyone built one? Whats the lore overall around dreadnought swords?
