Here are the various domains and Barons I envision for Battleworld in Avengers: Doomsday and Secret Wars.

Here is my idea of what Battleworld could look like in *Avengers: Doomsday* / *Secret Wars*.

I envision Battleworld as a massive world made up of different territories drawn from various universes. Each territory would be led by a Baron—a key figure governing their own region on behalf of Doctor Doom.

Here are the different domains I imagine:

Latveria — Doctor Doom

New Salem — Agatha Harkness

Greenland,Hulk's domain — Maestro

Wakanda — Killmonger

Savage Land

New York — split into two sections: a 616 side and an 838 side (Valentina Allegra de Fontaine or Kingpin)

Subterranea — Mole Man

HYDRA Empire — Captain Hydra or Red Skull

Egypt — Apocalypse

Talokan — Namor

Deadlands — Zombie Scarlet Witch

Russia / Red Room — Evil Black Widow

Ultron's Domain — Ultron

Asgard — Hela or hold Thor

Krakoa — Magneto

Kamar-Taj — Baron Mordo

Ta Lo — Wenwu

What do you think? Would you like to see these territories and characters as Battleworld Barons? And what other characters or domains would you add?

Am I the only one who would have preferred Jennifer Lawrence's Mystique over Rebecca Romijn's in Avengers: Doomsday?

.

I loved both portrayals, but I’ve always had a special fondness for Jennifer Lawrence’s version. I prefer her character arc, her personality, her relationships with the other characters, and everything built around her throughout the films. I would have loved to see this version of Mystique interact with MCU characters—Yelena, in particular. To me, a confrontation between Florence Pugh’s Yelena and Jennifer Lawrence’s Mystique would have been far more impactful. Plus, her return could easily have been justified, given that we know Mystique ages more slowly thanks to her powers.

Sam's new avengers

We know that Thunderbolts takes place some time after Captain America: Brave New World*, notably because Valentina mentioned Red Hulk. At the end of Brave New World, Sam says they are going to reform the Avengers.

However, Avengers: Doomsday takes place 14 months after the events of Thunderbolts. So, in all that time, did Sam only recruit Ant-Man? 🤔

That is actually one of the film's weak points for me: it gives us a rather lackluster roster for Sam's Avengers, when it could have included characters like Captain Marvel, Moonknight,Wasp, or even War Machine characters who could have really enriched the team.

What do you think? Do you think Sam has already recruited other Avengers—like Captain Marvel, for instance, who hasn't been announced as part of the cast yet—but we just haven't seen them yet? Or did Sam really wait all this time before reforming the team? 👀

J'aurais préféré que les Thunderbolts gardent le nom « Thunderbolts ».

Personally, I would have done things differently. They would still have symbolically represented the new generation of Avengers, but without officially bearing that name. Valentina would have introduced them to the public as Earth's new heroes while keeping the name "Thunderbolts"—especially since she had heard Red Guardian suggest it.

I think that would have made more sense, as it would have avoided any confusion with the actual Avengers team Sam is putting together. The Thunderbolts would have retained their own identity while still being viewed as Earth's new protectors. That way, they could have honored the Avengers' legacy without giving the impression that they were officially replacing Sam's team.

Time Stone theory

How did the Time Stone, encased within the Eye of Agamotto, end up on Earth in the hands of the Masters of the Mystic Arts, becoming their primary weapon against the forces of evil? Let’s hear your theories!

We know that the Space Stone was entrusted to Earth by the Asgardians before returning to Asgard years later.

As for the Mind Stone, it arrived on Earth in 2012 inside the Chitauri scepter, before being retrieved by Ultron, who then embedded it in Vision’s forehead.

My theory is that Earth is not the only planet with sorcerers. We know, for instance, that Krugarr—a member of the Ravagers—also masters the mystic arts.

I therefore believe that sorcerers from another planet entrusted the Time Stone to Earth's sorcerers, knowing that our world remained particularly vulnerable to mystical and interdimensional threats. Earth's sorcerers would then have sealed it within the Eye of Agamotto to protect it and use it to defend the planet.

How did the people of Earth learn of the Asgardians' existence? Did the Asgardians visit Earth repeatedly—often enough to inspire the myths and legends associated with them?

Question about the gods of the MCU

In the MCU, are Thor, Loki, Zeus, and the others actual gods in the literal sense, or are they simply extremely powerful beings perceived as gods by humans and other alien races—much like certain Eternals (such as Thena, the goddess of war)? If they are indeed true gods, what exactly does that entail? What makes a being a god in the MCU? Can one become one, and if so, how and why?

Theory

I think the new version of Avengers: Endgame, coming out in September, could alter or add archival footage of the missing people, particularly Yelena and Red Guardian, since they didn't exist in the MCU at the time. This would make sense for the general public, especially since they'll be in Avengers: Doomsday. I also imagine a scene where Natasha watches this footage with emotion, experiencing a particular feeling as she sees important people from her past appear among the missing.

What do you think of my Thunderbolts lineup and its history?

Thunderbolts: Project Fury

After several global crises, the Avengers are scattered and increasingly difficult to mobilize quickly. Nick Fury realizes that he needs a permanent intervention force, capable of carrying out missions that traditional heroes would refuse.

But another concern is pushing him to act. For several months, S.H.I.E.L.D. has been investigating possible Skrull activity around the world. The shape-shifting aliens have already proven in the past that they can infiltrate governments, militaries, and secret organizations. Fury knows it is impossible to rule out the possibility that they have also targeted certain heroes.

The Avengers are the most powerful individuals on the planet, but they are also the most recognizable. If a new Skrull infiltration is underway, no one can say with certainty that they are all still who they claim to be. For Fury, this is yet another reason not to depend solely on them.

He needs a discreet team capable of operating in the shadows, carrying out covert operations, espionage missions, and interventions that traditional heroes would never accept.

His idea is simple: use criminals and dangerous individuals, but keep them under S.H.I.E.L.D.'s control.

To lead this unit, Fury chooses Natasha Romanoff, the Black Widow. A former spy and former assassin, she understands redemption better than anyone... but also manipulation.

Fury's Proposal

Natasha is summoned to a secret S.H.I.E.L.D. facility.

Fury presents the project to her:

"The Avengers save the world. You're going to stop it from needing to be saved."

The program is given the name Thunderbolts.

Each member is either a prisoner or an unstable individual receiving a reduced sentence in exchange for their service.

Natasha accepts on one condition:

"I lead them. No one else."

Fury agrees.

To him, the Thunderbolts are not merely a replacement team. They are an insurance policy in the event of a major crisis. If the Skrulls were ever to launch an open invasion using Super-Skrulls with powers comparable to Earth's heroes, or if some heroes became compromised, this team would need to be capable of holding the line on its own.

This is one of the main factors influencing his recruitment choices.

Recruitment

Agent Venom – The Loyal Soldier

Flash Thompson already works for S.H.I.E.L.D. thanks to the controlled Venom symbiote.

He becomes Natasha's second-in-command and her primary field operative.

Unlike the others, he is a volunteer.

Part of his role is also to keep an eye on his teammates.

Ghost – The Infiltrator

Held in a maximum-security prison.

Ghost agrees to join only because S.H.I.E.L.D. promises to continue research that could permanently stabilize her molecular condition.

Natasha quickly recognizes her immense value for espionage operations.

Songbird – The Voice of Redemption

A former criminal who is genuinely trying to become a better person.

She is probably the closest thing to a true hero on the team.

Black Widow quickly comes to see her as her greatest ally within the group.

Radioactive Man – The Human Nuclear Weapon

Confined in a specially designed cell built to contain his radiation.

He joins the team in exchange for improved living conditions.

No one trusts him.

Even Natasha always keeps a contingency plan ready in case he turns against them.

However, Fury knows that if they ever face opponents on the level of the Super-Skrulls, very few individuals on Earth possess power comparable to his.

Juggernaut – The Brute Force

Physically impossible to control.

His recruitment is opposed by many S.H.I.E.L.D. agents.

But Fury simply responds:

"If Hulk ever shows up, you'll be glad he's on our side."

Juggernaut accepts mainly because he would rather smash things in the field than remain locked up.

For Fury, having a force capable of rivaling the most powerful beings on the planet is a necessity.

Blizzard – The Master of Chaos

A technological genius capable of creating devastating ice storms.

He joins the team in hopes of regaining his freedom.

His sarcastic attitude and oversized ego quickly create tension with Ghost.

Sentry – The Most Dangerous One

Robert Reynolds is voluntarily confined within a secret facility.

He does not consider himself a prisoner.

He considers himself a threat.

The Void, his destructive alter ego, is always present in his mind.

When Fury offers him a place on the team, Sentry refuses.

It is Natasha who eventually convinces him.

She tells him:

"If you want to prove you're not a monster, start by saving lives."

He finally agrees.

For Fury, this recruitment is essential. If the worst-case scenarios he fears were ever to become reality—a Skrull invasion led by multiple Super-Skrulls, or the loss of trust in Earth's greatest heroes—then Sentry might be the only asset capable of balancing the scales.

What would you expect from Black Widow (Natasha Romanoff) if she were reimagined in the Marvel Cinematic Universe? Personally, I'd like a more violent, deadly, ruthless Black Widow who makes more use of her widow bites and has her own series because I think the espionage format works better in a TV
