how to kiss

okay this is really embarrassing but genuinely how do people kiss and actually enjoy it? i wish they taught this in sex ed class. everyone always says it’s one of those things that just come naturally but it’s not. i find kissing HORRIBLE, especially making out but i know that i am the one who made them such bad experiences. and i everyone seems to enjoy kissing and it seems to come naturally to everyone else but i just don’t understand HOW??

now im so embarrassed whenever someone tries to kiss me, i always just avoid it because i don’t know how to do it!

lexapro not working

i’ve been on 10mg of lexapro now for almost 10 weeks and feel it hasn’t helped me at all. i feel the exact same, i still struggle with suicidal thoughts and motivation. some days i can’t get out of bed, and most days i break down in tears from overwhelmed and just genuinely depression. ive spoke to my psych about this but she said she would not change the meds or dosage.
i’m really struggling.

has anyone else experienced this on lexapro? maybe it’s just one of those antidepressants that takes a bit longer to kick in? i’m not sure but i’m really curious to know if anyone else has had similar experiences on lexapro!

18 soon

okay so i turn 18 in 32 days - the 20th of september- and i honesty don’t know how to feel about this. i feel like im still such a baby i just can’t wrap my head around the fact ill be a whole ass ADULT?? did/ does anyone else feel the same? like mentally i feel like im still 12 😭

also be honest- after turning 18 did any of you guys feel any different or do you feel the same?
everyone talks about turning 18 as such a huge life changing experience and i’ve kind of been doubting it but maybe i just don’t know what i’m on about. i’m in australia so ill be able to vote and drink and do everything when i turn 18 but i know it’s a lot different in other countries like america where you fully gain all your rights when you’re 21..
anyways lmk you’re experiences and thoughts on turning 18!

my psychologist and psychiatrist aren’t helping me when i need it.. what do i do??

i told my psychiatrist my mental health was getting worse as well as my suicidal thoughts and lack of motivation.. she just told me to go on a walk. what do i do. i need help but i am not getting it.

Over the past 2 months i have had multiple attempts which have all ended up with me in the hospital. i have recently started getting therapy and have been put on meds but my symptoms have just worsened. i know 4-6 weeks is when you get the optimal effects of antidepressants but ive been on them now for almost 9 weeks.

i decided to finally speak to both my psychologist and psychiatrist about how i was feeling and told them i do not plan to make it into 2027 but did however want to atleast finish highschool for my dad (i am in australia so i finish in november). i stated clearly that i was struggling heavily, needed help, and felt as though the help i had been provided though therapy and medication was not working. i know that if i am left alone with my thoughts for too long i may not be here any longer.
in response, the psychiatrist simply told me to go on a walk or run and that they would not alter my meds at all or change anything within the therapy. they didn't listen to what i was saying and ignored my cries for help. i was literally in the chair bawling my eyes out begging for help and got absolutely nothing.
they never listen.

i don't know what to do because everything is so hard for me and i know there is only one way to make it stop. people say to reach out when you're feeling in a dark place but when you do they do nothing.
i just want to survive for the next 2 months that's all im asking but i know deep down if i keep going at this rate i will not make it before my planned date.

what do i do about the psychologist and psychiatrist?
i actually have tried walking and going to the gym when i feel i have a little bit of energy but everything just reminds me of how worthless and miserable i am. please help
