Went to the mall today and found this guy. I also found a ton of Last Ronin action figures, but they were out of my budget. Maybe one day, but for now Im happy with my Donatello funko pop.
I can't do this. I hate the state of the world right now. I hate my country (The USA) I hate my government. I hate how much hate is being spread. I feel guilty going to bed every night with a full stomach and a warm bed knowing that there are people who aren't. I hate that queer and trans people are slowly losing rights that we have fought so hard to gain. I want ICE gone. I want to stop waking up and turning on the news and having to hear the new dumb thing that the president has done. Finally, I feel guilty for being tired. All things considered, I am very lucky right now. I'm a white, blonde person who can pass as cis. I don't have it hard. Yet I still feel hopeless, yet I still feel like nothing is ever going to change.
Its been two years now hasn't it? The last time I saw you, you were leaving the party early. Then I haven't seen you since. Im so tempted to contact you every now and then. To text, to just say hi. My friends say its a bad idea, and I know their right. After everything you've done to me. After the bullying, the manipulation, not only to me, but to the others as well, I can't help but miss you. I miss your laugh, I miss the funny accents you'd do, I miss drawing with you as we'd sit next to the window, I miss our hangouts as a group, but your gone now, and that's probably for the best. As we see in the show, Raph is interested in the Hidden City Police Force. Which makes sense, seeing as he stands for justice and doing the right thing, which is what the police are supposed to do. Now fun fact about police, many police forces actually used a version tonfa for crowd control. In fact the USA police used it up until the early 2000's when they realized that tonfas cause to much damage to a person's skull. Why? Because physics. With the force from the rotation of the handle and the force of it being brought down on someone's head, it caused to much lethal damage. Anyways, I thought it was interesting that Raph is interested in the police force, uses a tonfa, and in real life, police used to use a weapon like it.

I did a quick flip through and Im so excited. I love seeing all the old concept art, it does make me sad though when I think about what we could have gotten if Nickelodeon just gave more time to the show.

Like we see April's mom in the background at one point. During the episode that we start Draxums redemption "Repairin' the Barron" We see Donnie, Leo, and Splinter were all tricked into coming to dinner because they thought they were going to meet April's parents. So they havent met the turtles, but they have to at least know of them, right? I mean they do let their daughter keep a mystical animal as a pet.
