[TOMT] Family poisoning case involving a cellar

Happened over 50 years ago and has old black and white photos associated with it. Basically the family went down into the basement and died one-by-one due to poison gas, I remember most of the details but can’t remember the name of the incident.

New to Sniper? Here’s an easy build that doesn’t require much precision.

I’ve heard from some people that Sniper can be a little daunting to approach because it’s really the only precision class. They think that the only thing the class can is snipe with the Wrapped Bolt Sniper, which is a common misconception that drives some people away. My goal here is to provide a build that doesn’t require as much skill but can provide decent results without all the sweat. So here’s my CQB hybrid Sniper.

Weapons:

  1. Wrapped Instigator Carbine
  2. Retribution’s Request
  3. Argent Edge

These weapons are pretty strong on their own but have very good synergy when paired together. The Wrapped Instigator is very good at close range and has decent ammo economy, it also can remove majoris at medium range decently well.
Retribution’s Request has the highest gun-strike damage in the game currently and is fantastic for quickly removing enemies calling for reinforcements.
Argent Edge is the best defensive melee in the game and provides a ton of extra gun-strike opportunities.

Perks:

  1. Melee Mastery
  2. High Capacity
  3. Dexterous Hands
  4. Squad Renewal
  5. Purification
  6. Targeted Shot
  7. Persistence
  8. Pattern of Excellence

Some of these don’t matter too much and can be substituted, but others are very necessary (like Dexterous Hands).
High Capacity just bolsters your ammo and gives you more breathing room. You can definitely swap out squad renewal if you want as you regenerate cloak very quickly and don’t need to use it all at once, but it’s nice for team support.
Purification is a must as it gives you the ability to become the most tanky class in the game (imo). Pattern of Excellence is also a requirement as grenades are your most efficient horde clear option.

Prestige Perks:

  1. Emperor’s Grace
  2. Versatile Precision
  3. Indomitable Spirit
  4. Conviction

Emperor’s Grace is insanely useful as 2 seconds of invulnerability just makes your incredible durability go beyond most other classes.
Versatile Precision is Snipers most powerful prestige perk and means you have near infinite ammo if you sue it correctly.
Conviction is just redundancy in case you take a hit without cloak available.

How to use:
Get close enough to your enemy that you can reliably land your headshots, activate cloak and shoot whatever it is in the head. Targeted Shot works with your full 5-round burst which means you can get a majoris to execute state with just 2-bursts. Try and draw out parryable attacks from enemies as that gives huge damage opportunities from Argent Edge. Use cloak to disengage if you need to or suddenly have a lot of contested health you are afraid of losing.

Saber please have someone who plays the game design the Heroic Weapons

Deathwatch Stalker Bolt Rifle, Salamanders Power Sword, and Deathwatch Power Fist are all arguably worse than relic tier variants of the same weapon, which shouldn’t be the case. What’s worse is that most of these weapons genuinely have badly thought out perks that need a complete overhaul

  1. Stalker Bolt Rifle is good because of the high damage per shot and good headshot modifiers Tactical has access to. Most enemies you are getting consistent headshots on will die before you get any use out of the perk. So you basically have to use it as an awkward support weapon.
  2. Salamanders Power Sword is genuinely terrible in multiple ways. The perk effect is not strong enough to warrant a downside (unlike Argent Edge) and it needs a major damage buff to warrant using speed style. Deaths Grasp does the same concept but actually pulls it off well and is a decent weapon.
  3. Deathwatch Power Fist has a very weak blast effect that you cannot aim, as you cannot change directions once you commit to your heavy attack. So you waste a lot of the utility the blast could provide doing nothing, it also is not very strong and needs a damage buff.

Edit: The main point of this post is to point out that these problems should have been caught in the concept phase.

Most common chapters?

I feel like I run into Salamanders more than any other chapter, except maybe Black Templars and Ultramarines. What chapters do you guys end up running into a lot?

Edit: if you wanna play Absolute+++ use a MM skin in a party of Salamanders. Make sure friendly fire is on too!

Rate my Ravager!

I’ve been absolutely dominating with this setup and I feel like it’ll a get exponentially stronger when I max it out.

I love this thing!

I love this setup with Kaji. It feels pretty bulky while still being able to deal alright damage at medium range; while also being good at kiting brain-dead players into mines! Might be my favorite bot lol

Is Diamond City Blues the best quest in Fallout 4?

It’s the one quest I feel like would fit perfectly into NV. Like you access it an obscure are of the map, it’s pretty easy to miss altogether. Then it has multiple different outcomes and rewards/consequences for your decisions. I also find it pretty narratively interesting with some good RP opportunities. Is there any other quests in Fo4 that feel similar?

Looking for someone to do load order for me…

I’m really tired of having to sort my load order for hours, getting frustrated and putting down the game for a week. I just need someone to go through my modlist and order it for me. I’ve tried just looking at a guide but I don’t have the patience for it. I’ve been typing out my modlist and I’ll have it available in a few hours for anyone interested to view.

Clarification on a certain point

Basically Vaush claims that that leftists who are/were against USAID or either uniformed or naive, and that their advocacy against it is a byproduct of that.

From what I understand about Vaush he is a consequentialist and the motives behind an action are less relevant than the action itself. A theoretical leftist president might have also demolished USAID too, but the reasons why are irrelevant to the outcome itself. So has Vaush’s standards changed or is it something else?
