Salerno: Three Norwegian tourists disembark from a cruise ship and are raped by three Tunisians.

On the night of July 8, in Salerno, three young Norwegian women who had just disembarked from a cruise ship were attacked around 2:00 a.m. while walking back to the port. In the central area between Piazza della Libertà and the Villa Comunale, three Tunisian men approached them. One of them made aggressive advances toward one of the women, attempting to grope her. When a friend intervened to defend her, she was punched in the face. Her screams attracted the attention of several passersby, who came to the aid of the women. Police quickly intervened, apprehending a 30-year-old Tunisian man as he fled with his accomplices. The man was arrested on charges of attempted sexual assault and assault.

The injured woman was treated by emergency services. This incident is not an isolated incident in the area. In recent years, Salerno and the Amalfi Coast have recorded several similar cases involving female tourists. In July 2025, for example, a minor was sexually assaulted (groped and rubbed) in Piazza della Libertà after a concert, resulting in the arrest of a foreign national.

Cases of attempted sexual assault have also occurred on public beaches (such as Mercatello) and in other areas frequented by tourists. Their proximity to the port and the summer nightlife makes these areas particularly vulnerable, with frequent reports of harassment of women alone or in small groups. The three Norwegian women were deeply shocked by the incident.

My mother-in-law is in a Thailand ICU with renal failure. Family maxed out savings for hospital deposit and needs help.

Hi everyone, writing this on behalf of my wife since she doesn't use Reddit.

Her mom is a healthcare worker from the Philippines.

For her 60th birthday, we gifted her a trip to Thailand because it was her biggest wish. But on the 2nd day of her trip on her actual birthday, she suddenly had trouble breathing, asked for help, and fainted.

She was rushed to the hospital by ambulance and is now stuck in the ICU with severe renal failure.

She is stable now but just had an operation and is on continuous dialysis. The bills are piling up so fast. We just got the latest invoice from 07/09 and the total is already around $10,800 USD (371,523 Baht).

My wife and I live in Norway and we immediately emptied our personal savings to pay the $3,200 USD deposit to keep her treatment going. But the remaining balance right now is $7,350 USD (252,899 Baht) and she isn't ready to leave the ICU yet. Every single day adds more to the bill. Between our regular living expenses here in Norway and taking care of our own household/kid 5yrs old, we are completely stuck and maxed out.

We just can't cover her ICU care and dialysis on our own. Everything goes straight to paying the hospital invoices so we can get her stable enough to fly back home to the Philippines for her long-term care and more dialysis treatment is needed in the future. I can gladly DM the photo of the bill to anyone or any mod who wants to verify.

Please consider donating or sharing her GoFundMe if you can. Thank you so much.

Lifelong health worker in Thailand ICU with renal failure. Family maxed out savings on hospital deposit and needs help.

Hi guys, writing this for my wife Kishida since she doesn't have Reddit.

Her mom is a healthcare worker from the Philippines. For her 60th birthday, we gifted her a trip to Thailand because it was her biggest wish for her 60th birthday. But on the 2nd day of her trip on her actual birthday, she suddenly had trouble breathing, asked for help, and fainted/collapsed. She was rushed to the hospital by ambulance and is now stuck in the ICU with severe renal failure.

She is stable now but just had an operation and is on continuous dialysis. The bills are crazy. We just got the latest invoice today from 07/09 (attached the photo). The total is already around $10,800 USD (371,523 Baht).

Everything goes straight to paying the hospital invoices so we can get her stable enough to go back home to the Philippines for her continued care and dialysis treatment. Please consider donating or sharing if you can.

Pressekonferanse Med Solbakken

Wcgw when you inflate your ball with gas..

They inflated it with gas from the tube instead of the natural air that fills the car when they turned on the water. The flame started to come back until it reached the point where the gas comes out. The flame caught on all the gas in the ball, so the ball popped.

Cutting a lace system.

I have a new lace system, but I feel it's a bit too wide in the temple area. Any good tips on cutting this area or any good vids on doing this is appreciated 👍.
