Signboards in Karachi look so ugly with the scripts flipped, why are Urdu sentences written in English/Roman and English written in Urdu letters?

I've traveled the world and never seen such un-aesthetic cities... And no self respecting country does this even at the official level I get corporate and government communication in this roman Urdu/Urdu script English too.

I hate the Urdu word 'number'

The title is supposed to be annoying.

Why haven't we bothered to translate it properly? Even classical writings just say noon meem bay ray.

We have words for numeral or digit or quantity or some other approximation

Is it viable to diversify and move investment to Oman? Or is the real estate market there too hot now?

This is the starting point of my research into Oman’s real estate market, so I’m still very new to understanding the different cities, neighborhoods, pricing trends, regulations, and overall investment potential. I don’t yet know which areas are considered good for living, business, rentals, or long-term appreciation, so I’m hoping to learn from people with local experience. Any advice, insights, recommendations, or even basic guidance about where to start researching would be really appreciated.

Struggling to see gains, been working out since before the start of the year

I've taken breaks for vacation totalling one month in this period and ofc Ramadan was not ideal but still worked out didn't abandon

I've tried 3,4,5 and 6 day routines

The only thing I am not sure about is whether I need more protein or not, reddit insists all you need is 1-1.5g per kg of body weight but I feel it's not enough for me

What's the best way to make money off of the upcoming oil shortages, or best case scenario no shortage but worldwide high oil prices?

It tried putting a few hundred in random oil stocks but they've been crazy ups and downs with no real money made

For some reason the PakWheels guy Suneel Munj pisses me off. I'm going crazy because all the nibbas in this country think he's very cool but I can't put my finger on it something is off

Why am I who just gets annoyed by everything about him, and I'm constantly spammed PakWheels by my algorithm

Why aren't there many of the latest Zen 5 or Intel 2xx or 3xx in laptop models today? Just opening Amazon or whatever I still see Core 5 1xx or even Core i5 and Zen 4 laptops

This isn't a buying post but I'm on the look out no hurry and am disappointed I can't find a sub 700 laptop with the latest CPUs, or at most one generation old (Core 5 2xx)

Me and my sibling were raised differently, yet both give up easily on every hobby/dream

I'm curious how do kids who pursue things, whether it's something narrowly focused like learning the guitar, then progressing through to reaching decent levels of talent progressing through levels of difficulty like mastering electric, base and other things (or even just being good enough to play 1-2 songs) OR something more involved like deciding that you're going to an Ivy League or Oxbridge then pursuing it through years of school planning everything from required grades to extracurriculars etc years before it happens.

More examples like learning to skateboard or learning a new language on your own.

Some kids just do it, while me and my sibling just couldn't. I was raised more strictly, I was made to prove I'm committed, encouraged strongly to finish what I'd started, sometimes getting the next thing was conditional on me appreciating the last thing.

My sibling had the opposite experience, anything wanted was granted, no need to prove commitment or passion, whatever's the new trend or whim was given regardless of previous obsession being discarded.

So both of us ended up with lots of toys, instruments, books/teaching supplies, arts and crafts, sports gear etc that we all failed to learn well enough while our friends, classmates and colleagues somehow managed to get good at or succeed in. And raw intelligence, physical strength or hand eye coordination/motor skills aren't even a factor because the people in question both the failures and the winners came from a variety of levels in all these variables.

I weirdly dislike 'juicy' chicken breast, which seems to be the obsession of every chef online posting their recipes and techniques. I don't want it dry leather either but how do I get that soft but not really juicy and bouncy texture?

I'm sorry if my description sounds vague but my chicken breast at home always turns out too juicy unlike restaurants (whether Western or Asian cuisine). If I try to mess with it too much it goes straight to too dry.

It's so extremely tribalistic that KP assembly even passed a resolution in their favor.

I've seen them defend the most obvious wrongs, like it'll be a video of a tanker going wrong way or speeding etc and they'll justify it and do maa behn ki galiyan and racism against others in the comments.

I don't know what to say, I know the essence of all media and art ever created is ultimately "it's subjective" but I'm trying to see if my feeling is relatable for others.

My first hurdle was the direction and storytelling wasn't good, I know the concept of clips going viral didn't exist then but honestly it feels like some standup comedy or skits stitched together, and the glue in between isn't as smooth.

And then getting to the actual humor, I found it just flung shit everywhere trying to see what stuck, rather than something having gone through an editorial process. Which means some of the scenes were pure second hand embarrassment, cringe worthy and I don't mean in a thoughtful and deliberate way which is common for comedy.

I'm in the market for a laptop and I've noticed none of the refurbished/upgraded laptops on the market have the latest AMD/Inter core processors.

From what I understand Core 5 325 and similar boards should be fairly cheap?

And are Snapdragon parts available from suppliers to put in laptops?

It has horrible fuel economy but this i know nothing can fix.

I get a horrible back ache after driving it and it has terrible handling, I'm thinking of replacing the tyres with wider ones.

I'm considering spacers because it's a very narrow and high COG car but there's a lot of scaremongering about them online so not sure.

And I imagine there's nothing to be done about suspension as that will be too expensive?
