I am enrolled in Cs at habib in 2030 batch . Should I switch to any other uni next year , it would cost me my year or I should study here . I want to get a decent pay job( anything above 1 or till 1.5 lacs) by the end of my degree , I am willing to work hard , make projects and do my best . I just wanna know how good habib is in terms of placements , because right now your competence matters less than brand value .
I am from cs batch 2030 . Wanted to ask how’s habib in terms of job placements in cs . Are students able to land jobs and do they offer good package . Plus how many students are easily able to do masters on funded scholarships abroad .
I don’t understand how are those guys who grind their ass off and work hard are still unemployed . I see random CVs on Reddit and idk why despite of such major demand many fail to land even basic level roles . Why don’t you guys specialize in something specific for eg Cs with finance , Or Cs with robotics or Ai walay careers like machine learning engineering and all . I believe ye wahi log hain jinko math sai nafrat aur logical reasoning or smjh nahi hai plus problem solving zero hai bs dekha dekhi Mei Jo demand Mei chal raha uthaye ja rahay . I have been given the option to do major in EE or Cs right now as being enrolled in 2026 . Would probably be Pershing a masters from Germany or EU country . Am I wrong for assuming the Cs Thing or it’s actually that there is something terrible going on ?
As an enrolling in a bachelors in Cs degree in 2026 , will graduate by 2030 . I would explore different fields and build my expertise around 1 with the help of projects and all . I was academically always good and my logical thinking is good . I also can imagine things really well in mind for eg physics and all . Is it a right path for me as a student living in Pakistan for now ? I am also willing to persue masters either in Germany , USA , Australia or Finland if I land a funded scholarship or govt uni . Can this path help me to achieve financial stability by 2032 ? Or should I go towards EE side and do Masters in any EE related field abroad. ? The Downside of it is that if i don’t get funded scholarships I am left with EE in Pakistan which has no scope .
Which one does has better career prospects and placements?
Are freshers of CS from IBA/LUMS/HABIB able to pull of high scale jobs right now in the market or not ? Like do they get hire on something around 1- 2.5 lacs per month or it’s delusional?? Guys I am going to enroll in Cs or EE by Wednesday can someone share the link where we can actually see the timetable of those in CS or EE and the electives they have offered or forced upon us without any choice , like my friend of EE is forced with bioinformatics smth. Guys I can do well in both the fields because I am the type of student who puts all effort in whatever I start doing . Considering I want to settle abroad and also do a masters abroad and the job market scenarios world wide , what do u guys think should be an ideal choice for me to choose ? . What to choose CS or EE . I don’t wanna persue CE . Has someone landed a good placement in Cs or EE . Plus if I am confused abt both is EE with minor in CS a better choice ? And also how easy it is to apply for masters as being a student at habib on fully funded scholarship and which major is best for masters and high placement .
I was thinking to build smth for uni students not based in Karachi and looking for off uni hostels. Everyone knows how much expensive these uni hostels are . What if I say that you guys particularly those coming from a middle class background can get a shared apartment at a walking distance away from uni ?
With basic furnishing . Can opt to choose 2 or 3 room mates , which can make your monthly budget for hostel as low as 8-10k. Students living with you would be of the same university so it’s eventually better networking and less trust issues .

They charge around 10k for you to avail these tutions after demo , is this valid or it’s all just a scam ??
So I got into bs in CS in round 2 at a scholarship of 75%. It is still a bit expensive for me but my family can manage , uk by cutting down expenses and all. So I wanted to ask that if Cs at Habib is actually worth it or the university its self is worth the sacrifice. It’s the last backup I had , it’s either habib or gap year and getting to any other uni like IBA/LUMS /FAST but not sure if I would be getting FA enough to afford them too. So what should I do ??.
Guys I filled the FA form , and they asked me for some transaction details , like there were 2 transaction and they have asked info about it , how should I reply , pls the mail was 2 days ago and they said tell by Thursday , and even gave a soft reminder , but I missed it . If I reply today is it a problem??, can I reply today? Will they accept ? Is it a big issue or will they still consider ??
Guys I m very confused , I am a kind of person who nor hates any subject and nore loves any . Although I feel I m more interested towards physics . Considering Pakistani job market , I applied for Cs and got into CS as I want a stable career, I don’t like CS but ik I can do it just for the sake of my career and to support my family . In Pak there are low to no opportunities for EE grads . What should I do ? If I choose EE , how easy it is to do a masters abroad right after graduation ? I also believe Cs market is way to saturated globally so maybe EE would be a better option. But if I couldn’t go for masters , then I won’t be able to make a financially stable career as a EE grad in Pakistan.
