If you needed any proof that the heavy load thing was fake, these 2 were from the same prompt twice in a row
They just want you to pay more for a worse service or leave to let them use more computing
The kind of drops the game gives you when you are running a pure melee Axe-orcist build
Goddamnit...
These are my expectations for the finale episode at this point
I have no hope left after today's episode unless they announce that the Show has 3 more secret episodes to go, this episode would have been good if it was the 4th but the 7th? Yeah no pack it up
Selena eats Leon's glowing meat for 1 minute straight
Not much to do in this mode so i'm limit testing stuff, you can get quite tanky
For those going "man i can't beat the new mode i suck" don't feel bad, this mode is entirely RNG based and skill doesn't matter that much, for example you get one decent SMG and the Unyelding Judge perk and you just do this
Good RNG is key, yes there's better ways to play than others (don't go pure melee build for instance, trust me it's not gonna win you the mode) and some zones are better than others (the care center has a lot of slot upgrades and resources) but overall it's not "git gud" but "git lucky", so don't feel bad about losing in this
Is this a bug in the new mode or did the game always have bulletproof water?
Like i don't remember this being a problem in the main campaign, but maybe it did and it's just bad memory which is why i'm asking tbh
I hate that in the new mode you can't sharpen the Hatchet, just why did they take away the most iconic gameplay aspect of RE9 Leon in a mode dedicated to RE9 Leon?
The entire game is designed around Leon being able to sharpen his Hatchet and the enemies are designed accordingly, which is why they are so aggressive, barely stagger and are lounging at you all the time and some have instakill moves too like the Chainsaws or Blisterborne, so if you can't do that anymore you are no longer RE9 Leon you are defaulting back to a worse RE4R Leon when it breaks, while the enemies are still RE9 ones.
Not to mention that whoever made this mode also decided that the ONLY enemy variants (the glowing ones) have to be both melee focused, so if your hatchet is broken and need to get past them, then be ready to waste half your ammunition for one enemy unless you got lucky rolls and damage stacks.
I've been playing this mode for a few hours and i couldn't get why it felt so "eh" compared to the main campaign despite the fights being nearly identical 1:1 copy pastes, it's the hatchet sharpening being gone, that's what kills the flow of combat for me.
Sure the mode being barebones, shallow and lazy with bland and boring perks doesn't help, but it's the sharpening being gone that makes it feel just not good with the way the enemies are, please keep it a thing or at least add a perk that lets you sharpen it or something.
For those wondering, yes you can kill Hunk without a hatchet in the new mode, though i wouldn't recommend it you need to requiem his left shoulder at the right time when he charges you or he just dodges everything
If he goes away and uses his gun though then he's easy pickings but sadly he didn't do that for me and i burned through all my heals and most of my ammo, but yeah it's still possible to kill him like that
