Most iconic Witches Day 4 🧙🧙‍♀️

Most iconic Witches Day 4 🧙🧙‍♀️

The Sanderson Sisters won day 3!!! As they never act alone, ALWAYS as a trio, I felt they could share a spot lol (I'd do the same if say Shakespeare's Weird Sisters or the Graeae from Greek Mythology win as well)

Witches from any media, franchise, games, comics, mythology, literature, etc. Most likes/replies. (Gender is not a factor. Male magic users will be considered)

Limited to 2 witches from a single franchise to prevent a single franchise from overtaking the board

Most iconic Witches Day 3 🧙🧙‍♀️

The Evil Queen wins!!! (Note: Similar to how I said I'd consider Elphaba and the Wicked Witch different enough that Elphaba could still be voted for, the same goes for Regina Mills from OUAT and the Evil Queen 😉)

Witches from any media, franchise, games, comics, mythology, literature, etc. Most likes/replies. (Gender is not a factor. Male magic users will be considered)

Limited to 2 witches from a single franchise to prevent a single franchise from overtaking the board

Most iconic Witches Day 2 🧙🧙‍♀️

The Wicked Witch of the West is our first pick!!! 💚

Witches from any media, franchise, games, comics, mythology, literature, etc. Most likes/replies. (gender is not a factor. Male magic users will be considered)

NOTE: A comment suggested limiting it to 2 witches from one franchise to prevent a single franchise from taking over the whole board, and I agree. However, in the case of our big winner, I should note that I will treat Wizard of Oz and Wicked as separate properties.

Most iconic Witches Day 1 🧙🧙‍♀️

Witches from any media, franchise, games, comics, mythology, literature, etc. (and yes, since it's been asked, gender is not a factor. Male magic users will be considered as long as they are considered by the majority of the replies/likes to be "witchy enough", i.e. I'd say Merlin is pure wizard, whereas characters like John Constantine, Billy Kaplan/Maximoff or Rumpelstiltskin feel more "witchy" in vibe lol

Billy Batson/Captain Marvel + Captain Britain = Captain Brilliant, Brian Batson was granted the heraldic power of English lore. Transforms from a science-minded mortal who has been unable to make use of his natural gifts due to parental abandonment and periods of homelessness was the perfect conduit for such power, as it allowed him not only to reach that squashed potential but to go far beyond it, physically transforming into a much more muscular form with god-like power at his disposal.

Mary Bromfield-Batson/Mary Marvel + Psylocke = Betsy Brilliant, Brian's twin sister, given equal power, though hers tends more toward the mental than the physical; she also takes the form of an East-Asian woman when she transforms.

Freddy Freeman/Captain Marvel Jr. + Tom Lennox = Agent Brilliant, a secret agent who acts as Captain Marvel Jr.'s liaison to the UK government. He is granted a small portion of power from the same source, and, like Betsy, with whom he is romantically involved, it's more mental than physical in nature.

Uncle Dudley + Dai Thomas = Gaffer Dudleigh, a local copper, nearing retirement, who is a bit eccentric but well-meaning. He takes Captain Brilliant under his wing in both his mortal and superhero guises (at first ignorant of the fact that they were the same person)

Shazam + Merlin = Taliesin, an ancient sorcerer rooted in the story that is the history of the British Isles. He's long sought champions to defend "her" shores, and his latest is Captain Brilliant and his various allies. Taliesin is a force of good (mostly), but by no means is he "nice". A chessmaster and manipulator, no matter how benevolent he may be. He comes from a metaphysical dimension layered over this one, known by many names such as Avalon, Otherworld, and the Sweet Hereafter.

Lady Blaze + Roma = Mistress Styx, Taliesin's daughter, once something akin to human, but the centuries have made her both a demonic/chthonic goddess in all but name as well as a being whose soul has dried up in favour of a darkness that not only has consumed her but threatens to consume the universe as well.

Isis + Meggan = Áine, A confused young woman with vast power that is initially out of her control. She's taken the name of the Irish fairy goddess, reflecting the nature of her abilities of transformation, strength, and elemental control, and at times has honestly questioned whether or not she IS Áine. She's developed a tentative mutual attraction for Captain Brilliant, who is reluctant to consummate it because of the double nature of his life and her apparent naivete.

PSI Division + The Lietenant Marvels = Brilliant Division (Hill Marvel + Vicki Reppion = Peng Brilliant, Fat Marvel + Alison Double = Mardy Brilliant, Tall Marvel + Kevin Mulhearn = Flash Brilliant), Agent Brilliant's closest compatriots, who share his and Betsy Brilliant's psychic gifts, have been able to access small portions of the heraldic powers the Brilliants draw from by working with the Brilliants and sharing a psychic link with them.

Doctor Sivana + Doctor Synne = Doctor Syvanna, a mad scientist with a mysterious connection to Captain Brilliant's long missing father. He craves power over all else and has zeroed in on targeting Captain Brilliant to achieve it, having learned the most about the hero of any of his rogues while the Captain's double identity still alludes him.

Beautia Sivana + Courtney Ross/Saturnyne = Courtia Syvanna/Saturnyia, In this reality, she is Courtia Syvanna, daughter of the villainous Doctor Syvanna and sometimes paramour of Captain Brilliant's alter ego, Brian Batson. But there is a version of her in EVERY reality, the chief of which is Taliesin's second-in-command and Mistress Styx's "jailer," Saturnyia, who has been both ally and enemy to the Brilliants.

Mr. Mind + Mastermind (Marvel UK character, not Wyngarde) = Mr. Mastermind, A "living" computer virus created when Doctor Syvanna used alien technology found at a crash site to update his computer system. At first, he posed as a subservient AI servant to the mad doctor, but it quickly became clear that Mr. Mastermind was soon the one controlling him, not the other way around. He has since become a villain of the good Captain, in his own right.

Captain Nazi + Hurricane = Blitzkrieg, a German superhuman criminal whose powers stem from WWII-era experiments on his grandfather that remained latent in his bloodline until coming to fruition in him at puberty; he has greatly enhanced physical powers and immense control over the weather.

Ibac + Slaymaster = Serial Slayer, A low-rent criminal, on the brink of death, is visited in a vision by Taliesin's daughter, Mistress Styx. She saves his life and grants him the abilities, skills, and knowledge of every great murderer and criminal in history. He goes from merely amoral to a bloodthirsty sociopath, whose mystically enhanced skills allow him to even take on superhuman opponents.

Oggar + Necrom = Oggrom, an old ally of Taliesin from the beginning of time, seemingly. Unlike the famed wizard, he did not want to impart power and create the heroic tale of the English Isles; he wanted all that power for himself. He and Taleisin battled, and Oggram was locked away and erased from the stories and myths, only to resurface centuries later...

Mister Atom + The Fury = Atomic Fury, a powerful and sentient nuclear-powered robot from an alternate future. He was created by the powerful and unpredictable bat-like reality warper Mad Jim Jeepers (Mad Jim Jaspers + Jeepers) to destroy all superhuman life, save Jeepers himself, and has proved frustratingly difficult to fully defeat thanks to his self-repair abilities that border on immortality.

Black Adam + Jamie Braddock = Black Monarch, An ancestor of Brian and Betsy Batson, he had been a previous champion of Taliesin. He let his power go to his head and was imprisoned in an eternal sleep by the wizard. He awoke in modern times, but his powers had greatly expanded during his slumber to near omnipotence. Even worse, he feels he is still dreaming, so whatever moral compass he may have had left is completely out the window, as he believes his actions now have no real-world consequences. During periods of lucidity, he has occasionally been on the heroic side.

Tawky Tawny + Jackdaw = Jacky Dawny, a "lucky bog cat" from English folklore who becomes the willing familiar of Captain Brilliant due to old fair folk customs that determine he must serve the Captain for rescuing him. He's impish, and his nature as a faerie means his logic can sometimes be unpredictable; he has good intentions. He's faded in and out of use as Captain Brilliant's stories became more "mainstream".

King Kull + Lord Hawk = King Hawk, One of Brian Batson's old professors, who now poses as an old-world warlord seeking to return society to a pre-industrial, savage state. He has either gone completely mad, been possessed, or truly remembers a past life. Either way, his physical abilities are now far beyond those of a meek professor, and he's able to use modern technology to create weapons and tools that allow him to achieve primal powers and earth-shattering effects.

Aunt Minerva + Vixen = Nanny Renard, an elderly woman who seems sweet at first glance but is actually a vicious crime boss and mistress of a vast network of villainy that has infiltrated even the British government. Despite her lack of actual superpowers, her intelligence, planning skills, and connections have made her a formidable villain on multiple occasions, often ten steps ahead of the Brilliants, no matter how psychic most of them are.

I'm writing a book and looking for sensitivity readers for a number of topics and themes, and have had some trouble finding the best way to get in contact with such resources.

I could have sworn it had been confirmed that she was playing Circe, but the most recent trailer really makes it seem like she's playing Calypso. It's possible they merged them into one character; other adaptations have done that (in fact, they even got confused for each other in the classical period).

I've been trying, mostly for fun (since I know there is no "canon" when it comes to Greek Myths), to make a genealogy/family tree of most of the gods. When it comes to Zeus's kids, I've run into a couple of snags.

Currently, I'm going with Metis (rather than the parthenogenesis origin) as Athena's mother, but since, at least in the versions I've found, it's Hephaestus who cracks open Zeus's head to free Athena, I have it that Athena was conceived during Zeus's first marriage to Metis, but not "born" until SEVEN marriages later lol

Does this sound right, or am I missing some context?
