The other night me and my friend destroyed You’ll Never Find Another Love Like Mine by Lou Rawls and Peg by Steely Dan. They were both so fun to sing especially the backup. But aside from that I’m one of those guys who sings the same songs every time!

I have no leslie, it’s an effect built into the organ. How will it sound if i get the distortion pedal as the chain would be organ>leslie>distortion? I’ve heard it’s supposed to go organ>distortion>leslie. Will it sound bad?

Pic 2 is also nice but the logo is smaller and i don’t like the square but it would be way easier to sew. Which should i do? Also which kind of stitch would be good? the app wasnt working when i tried to log in so i came back later and it still wasnt working and i came back later and it still wasnt and then eventually it said i had been locked out of my account so i call support and i’m on the phone with a robot and i’m navigating the things to say i’ve been locked out but for some reason it didn’t help at all and just told me to reset my password but i can’t because i’m locked out. how do i get back in??
i love all the albums i want to have more Deep Purple CDs because 1 i like to collect CDs and 2 i can listen to the songs while i play along on the organ. i don’t have a lot of money and i currently have no income so i can’t just get all the albums lol which ones do you guys think is best for playing along on organ what would get me the most bang for my buck?
i play the electric organ which is pretty much dead in modern music so there’s only one band that i’ve gotten to make music with in the past and it sucked making the music for starters they said my tone was bad and i needed to change it which is BS because they asked for a Deep Purple tone and i got it and then they were all like change this change that until i ended up sounding more like Billy Preston than Jon Lord. they also were super weird about the recording process which was whatever but what sucked the most was i could barely even hear the organ in the finished songs.
i kind of wish they never even put my name on the song coz 1. they use AI in their advertising and i want nothing to do with that and 2. you can’t even hear the organ in their songs so what’s the point! i’ve shown the music to my friends and they can’t hear where the organ is. i can only kind of hear it because i know exactly what to listen for!! anyway the guy recently reached out saying he’s got more songs he wants piano and strings on which is also upsetting half the songs i did were just piano composition and string ensembles which isn’t my thing!! i play ORGAN i’m not a pianist i’m also not an ensemble composer!
the whole thing stinks and the only reason i made tunes with these guys in the first place is because they promised i could do shows with them and that was well over a year ago and there hasn’t been a single show they invited me to. i know many musicians don’t typically have good experiences on here but “networking is networking” or whatever but i feel like there really is no point in going back in the studio with these guys if they’re gonna tell me how i should sound and then turn me down anyway
i only play the organ (hammond) and keyboard how can i make music if nobody else wants to make music with me? i usually just grab the drum track and maybe bass of a song and then record organ over it and like mimick the guitar too but i feel like that’s phony. maybe i should try music with ALL organ? like the bass is organ the chords is organ the melody is organ the percussion is organ?
I’m cleaning out my wardrobe and thinking of getting some custom shirts made. I definitely want some Deep Purple shirts and maybe even a custom beanie too of a DP logo but maybe that’s too corny. What albums do you guys think would be nicest?
