Ive been mostly offline tbh but how are showdown and kotc in your opinions for a casual/average player? Would you say to completely avoid them or are they worth playing.

Lowkey my posts more target asking the more average players. I know the sweats Will enjoy showdown and kotc more because they can dominate but what about you guys who arent spectacular at the game and would call yourselves 'mid.

Its become so outdated because I cant do anything good with the cap breakers and I also didnt optimise for badges

I want to make a comparison to a similar game, and it's a fair comparison. Fifa.

Fifa has its flaws but the thing is new content is actually not so unattainable. Sure theres top top cards that cost millions, which there should be. But Fifa gives alot of good free content through their form of exchanges, called SBCs. I wont delve into explaining but ill answer in comments if you want to know how they work, or just give it a quick Google.

Anyways though my point is that even in sbcs the top cards are still attainable generally and especially for nms and small spenders, especially if you grind.

I love 2k and I dont play any Fifa right now but they could really take some inspiration because this power balance is ridiculous. The pack odds in fifa too are nowhere near as bad. On average most people will get some cool pulls and they keep that enjoyment up. In 2k, they obviously rig packs and the odds are so blatantly not in our favour. Even the 100 ovrs in Hof boxes (PAID CONTENT BTW). They only give the same crappy 100s despite the amount of variety in those packs.

Back to my title point. When stuff releases in fifa id be excited because I can get my hands on the new themed cards and even potentially the top ones. In 2k? I get to witness the wonderful new content in the home screen and I get to enjoy the crap they give, like undersized guards and players with dysfunctional jumpshots.

Anyways if you read my rant/suggested changes i appreciate you but its annoying how much worse they are in comparison to a similar game. Idk about mlb or nhl or those games as ive never played them but I think ive heard someone say one of them is good in regards to rewarding content.

Ive played about 4 years worth of nba and I swear from when I played 19 to now, its the exact same character designs, theres no originality😭 ive genuinely never made one of these anime lightskin looking mfs because i dont get it lol.

I have like a few caps i think so a 0 cap build is useless and a 20 cap one is too. The issue is eveyones making new builds once they increase capbreakers. I wanted just one to stick with and slowly put in caps.

I don't want to have like 4 different builds and then needing vc for every single one.

I want a 6'8 SG build with 90+ threes and good D. Not too fussy about dribbling i wont be doing any playmaking as its not my style. Anyone able to help out🙏 I Just want 1 solid build but its so overwhelming with this new system

Im pretty casual and a solo so Is there a game mode outside of the main park I can play and maybe earn some decent stuff from. I find park too sweaty but I remember something like pro am being alright.
