Hey guys, so no going in details but suppose (am using webasm with rust), someone open my website and in background it gets connected to a network of other people's browsers, and there any browser can recieve data which they can verify through merkles (let's just say they recieve data A from many other browsers and then recieve data B and after some hashing it check if both r equal and send to others if they request it), then is there any way for malicious users to tamper with their browser so that they can send wrong data or verify wrongly or is there any way for us to know if the user has tampered the logic and hence alert other browsers that it's malicious
hey so I am trying to make a web3 project, where one roadblock I hit was that I want users to provide a proof if their balance and other stuff when sending transaction to validators…. but I am new to cryptography and know absolutely nothing so thought to use merkles, so can any one give resources for me to learn it?

Looking at CoinGecko data, global daily crypto volume is dominated by centralized exchanges, while DEX volume remains a relatively small fraction.
After massive CEX collapses and security breaches over the years, I assumed more traders would have migrated to self-custody and DEXs by now. Yet, CEXs like Binance, Bybit, and OKX continue to capture the vast majority of retail and derivative volume.
What is keeping the average trader tied to CEXs?
1). Derivatives & Leverage: Are perp DEXs (e.g., Hyperliquid, dYdX) still lacking the depth or features of CEX order books?
2). Fiat On/Off Ramps: Is the friction of getting local fiat into Web3 wallets the primary bottleneck?
How much of your trading volume actually sits on DEXs vs CEXs?
I Looked at CoinGecko data, Indian crypto volume is normal (~$2–3B), but almost all of it stays on CEXs.
Even after major security incidents like WazirX, most retail traders haven't moved to DEXs or self-custody. On top of that, many who use CEXs prefer global ones (Binance, Gate) over Indian-focused platforms.
Any reason?
So I have noticed all major dex which are mostly based on futures have their own chain(like hyperliquid, dydx, aster), why is that so? I mean the main goal of dex is self custody and fair order matching. That means funds locked in a program where protocol owners can't drain it or steal it, which is what even current contracts can do, and showing proof of every order(idk whats there in it that much).... but we can send its proof on chain (solana is cheap so on that?). Then why do users prefer protocols with their own chain? If a dex (or hybrid) doesn't have their own chain is it a bad sign?
I recent tried coindcx and for spit the fees were a lot, plus idk they don’t allow withdrawal on chains, o asked some guys and they didn’t recommend me foreign ones (like binance bybit or gate.io)… for dex it doesn’t allow Fiat to crypto… like why in such a massive nation there r so bad exchanges? any other trust worthy exchange?
ps did anyone try Dex(they claim to be self custody but for hyper liquid or dydx we do need to deposit our crypto to their chain and I guess account)?and why do many people don’t recommend foreign exchanges (including gate)? is anything wrong with them?
Hey guys so I am thinking to start a new (my first )startup in web3 but it's currently down and nobody is active (I guess this is a cycle of bull run as per past), should I still follow that? As the other competitors still have a good volume flowing through them (although less as per normal times), what to do in this case? Ps is there an active forum or discord server for startup and buisness company related? Like Yc school forum(which they closed now)....

Guys like in the old days the prices used to go up and everyone in the space were excited, and there was nft and then defi everyone used, but now it's all nothing, so will crypto return to that phase again and this is just a cycle?

Hey guys ,so I am confused on which indicators to use or even learn, (similar for candlestick patterns), as I in past tried to learn a lot of fancy indicators and wasted time and eventually made loss...
