I‘m new to the game, what are some tips for new soldiers of Democracy to know?

I first logged on yesterday and played my first missions today. Any tips on equipment, war bonds, enemies to fight, etc is appreciated! Thanks in advance!

I went through font/photo modification rabbit hole. I came out with this. (Updated)

I downloaded 1 font, 2 apps, and probably 3 viruses and it was all worth it! How do y‘all like it?

I saw this on eBay for $15 plus $10 shipping. Is this authentic or is it just a novelty item/fake?

I‘m sorry if this is obviously fake or something. I know there‘s been posts like this before. If you can confirm it‘s authenticity, thanks!

Finger print on Mauser 98 Scope! The attention to detail in this game!!

I was just looking for Germans as a Russian scout, nothing much going on (it was a dying server) when I finally saw this small detail! (I don‘t play scout the most and I don‘t usually use scopes when I play scout)

I saw this at a surplus store, anyone know what it‘s from? Labeled for $25

It‘s a black barracks style cap with a pin/badge in the front. It was in a box with many other barracks caps but none like this, mainly US and a few gray Swiss ones

I just got this bayonet from an antique store, paid $38

If any of you have any idea when it was used, what gun it fits on, what nation made it/where it served, I‘d appreciate any insight in this. Or if it‘s just a welded fake, feel free to make me regret my 38 dollars.

Possible German (?) Bayonet?

I bought this at an antique store for $38. I don‘t know much but a family friend said it looked German. If y‘all could tell me the era/year, what nation it‘s from, or any other facts, I’d be grateful!

Inside Fort Douamont near Verdun

The fort was built to hold about 800 soldiers but after its capture by the Germans in february 1916, around 2000 German soldiers were stationed here.

Many developed the ‘Douaumont disease’ (EDIT this seems to be a nickname for the symptoms and not an actual disease) due to the dampness of the fort combined with saltpeter smoke and general lack of hygiene (there were only a few toilets and no showers).

Disaster struck when in may 1916 the French used 900kg shells to attack the fortress which might have been the cause a of the large munitions explosion (EDIT the exact cause of the explosion has never been cleared up, see comment) inside the fort that killed nearly 800 soldiers.

When I visited the fort there were almost no other visitors. There was water dripping from the ceiling and the general atmosphere was quite grim. Definitely worth a visit!

Yesterday, the Gallipoli campaign was booming, now it‘s dead. Oil of empires is popular now

I‘ve already played the amount of Oil of Empires I need for the event, I just need to play on the Gallipoli campaign and I couldn‘t yesterday because neighbors were over. Why the sudden shift? Did the players somehow plan all this? It‘s just my luck that I can‘t play the operation I‘ve been waiting to get in a server for weeks now.

Hey y‘all! It’s my cake day!

12 months ago, I had the dull idea to create a Reddit account. Flash forward 12 months to this day, yay I guess…

Why is no one playing these? I‘m mainly finding dead servers

Yesterday, I got on a live server for the Oil of Empires campaign and I played the Gallipoli a while ago but I‘ve tried other times and it‘s just dead servers! Also is the Operations Battlepack different from the basic battlepacks or no?
