DAFT PUNK - Random Access Memories [2026 Full Album Stem Remaster]

DAFT PUNK - Random Access Memories [2026 Full Album Stem Remaster]

My stem remaster of Daft Punk's 2013 masterpiece "Random Access Memories", made for my own enjoyment, but sharing in case someone else might enjoy it too.

I've been torn for years about which Daft Punk album was my favorite: 'Discovery' or 'Random Access Memories'. After working on this remaster, I can definitely say it's the latter. Not by much, but there's something to it that makes it both the perfect album and swan song by the Robots.

This is only for fun and intends to be a very respectful remaster using stem separation, not straying too far away from the original version, only aiming at a little more clarity and punch, while still preserving the mood and feel of the original.

Obviously, I don't own the music featured here. If you like the music, support the artists. Buy their records!

VAN HALEN - Jump [2026 Stem Remix & Remaster]

My stem remix & remaster of Van Halen's "Jump" from their iconic album "1984", released that same year.

This album was suggested to me for remixing on a YouTube comment, where the poster thought Michael Anthony's bass tracks should be a bit more prominent in the mix.

This is only for fun and intends to be a very respectful remix, not straying too far away from the original version, only aiming at a little more clarity and punch and more presence of Michael Anthony's bass as already stated, while still preserving the mood and feel of the original.

Anyone else thinks 'Another Perfect Day' is Motörhead's most interesting (not necessarily the best) album?

I've seen a few posts lately on this sub championing the often misunderstood 'Another Perfect Day' from 1983 as Motörhead's best album. Personally, I'm not so sure about that, as I think both 'Ace of Spades' and 'Iron Fist' (yes, that one) are more consistent listens from start to finish.

However, I still feel this oddity of an album is top notch, having at least 4 songs that for me are compilation material and among their best ever (those being 'Dancing On Your Grave', 'One Track Mind', 'Another Perfect Day' and 'I Got Mine').

It's also a brilliant match musically between Robbo and the band to me, although at a personal level it turned out to be a disaster, and the only lineup Lemmy seemed to...not remember fondly, to put it mildly.

Still, I would rank the album higher than the debut, 'Overkill' and 'Bomber' believe it or not, even if those had some really essential songs in them.

Maybe fans and critics were not ready for such a melodic turn in the guitar tracks. Maybe the production turned out a bit too muddy compared to their previous records. Whatever the case, Lemmy ended up considering it a failure, even if he personally liked it.

Not me though. It's probably in my top 3 together with the other 2 records I mentioned.

The video, by the way, features my stem remix of 'Dancing On Your Grave'. This is only for fun and intends to be a very respectful remix, not straying too far away from the original version, only aiming at a little more clarity and punch, while still preserving the mood and feel of the original.

MICHAEL JACKSON - Thriller [2026 Full Album Remix & Remaster]

My stem remix of Michael Jackson's 1982 monster of an album "Thriller", made for my own enjoyment, but sharing in case someone else might enjoy it.

This is a fan-made stereo remix using stem separation. It is not a dance remix or re-arrangement, but an attempt to present the original mix in a slightly different form.

I left this album for last because it's obviously the most intimidating one to tackle with, being the best selling album of all time and all, and also an example of pretty much perfect production. But I wanted to try my hand at it just for the sake of completeness (I've already worked on "Off the Wall" and "Bad", which are the other 2 MJ albums I was obsessed with as a kid).

This is only for fun and intends to be a very subtle and respectful remix, not straying far away from the original version, which is a milestone in pop music production by the late great Quincy Jones.

Slightly revised version of my fan remix & remaster of Queen's iconic 1979 live album "Live Killers", made for my personal enjoyment, but sharing here in case someone else likes it.

This is a classic live album that, despite its undeniable greatness in all other aspects, always sounded muddy to me, and I am aware that the band themselves were not very fond of the final mix either.

As usual, I tried to improve on clarity, instrument separation and punch, without straying too far away and staying respectful to the original version. For better results, a full remix from the original multi-track tapes would be needed.
