If the title is too vague, let me explain.

I love Hyperborea, i play it pretty much all of the time (because i praise Crom and love Conan), but sometimes i like variety and running some medieval fantasy is always fun.

So is there a rpg equal to Hyperborea but non sword and sorcery, OSE for me is too rules lite and begginer (not a bad thing, but it's not my vibe), DCC (love it, but too gonzo and multi setting for what i am looking for + weird dice).

What are you folks suggestions.

Hi, i got interested in the setting and i am watching the anime to get a fiel of the series.

I am a rpg enthusiast, and i wanted to know how to start in the rpg also.

So far i found many core system, sword world (1,2,2.5), crystania & the official rpg(though it looks like it's only avaible in japanese)

Which of them is reccomend?
