154100 F/G, I’m finally getting around to taking a look at my Sears 274.54740150 that I bought a month or so ago.

I’ve taken a look at the stylus under a microscope just to make sure it’s okay and it looks decent to me, but I thought I’d consult here as well.

Timeline-wise, would this be Son of Son of Son of Sven?

I was sitting in my office gazing upon my CED player that I should get around to servicing and I thought to myself, “what if the Rifftrax Experiments got a Videodisc release?” So I put together a design for one, I coulda done a lot better but this was the best I could do on my cellphone and I didn’t want to boot up my computer.

I couldn’t find a picture of Mike with the bots that fit well with the design, so I did the next best thing.

Love the new barber shop prefab, it looks wonderful.

I saw Eerie’s post about Chuck Biscuits’ eBay page on facebook, he’s just listed a bunch of Danzig stuff.

Never have I seen such nastiness on film before, I guess I’ve been lucky.

The brown debris is bumpy to the touch, the white stuff feels slightly raised.

Could somebody help me out here and tell me what caused this damage?

Shazam! Anyone here like those DC Captain Marvel comics?

Captain Marvel was originally created by C.C Beck and Bill Parker in 1939 and published by Fawcett in 1940, In 1941 Captain Marvel starred in the first superhero film which was a 12 part serial titled “The adventures of Captain Marvel” unfortunately due to legal issues with DC that started in 1941 (DC sued Fawcett and alleged that Fawcett ripped off Superman and a brain-dead judge agreed) Fawcett eventually agreed to cease publication of Captain Marvel in 1953, In 1967 Marvel comics created their own character named Captain Marvel and secured the trademark to the name and still retains the trademark and produces their own Captain Marvel comics to this day.

In 1972 DC listened the character from Fawcett and created the Shazam! comics, and later purchased the characters in 1991.

The Plaque reads: “ Wilford H (Captain) (Billy) Fawcett built this building in 1919-20 to house his publishing company. It produced “Whiz Bang Magazine” which helped make Fawcett Publications one of the largest in the world. Billy also built Breezy Point Lodge on Pelican Lake. Plaque sponsored by Robbinsdale Historical Society 2014”

Got this in the mail today, was hoping the film would be in a better condition but oh well, just means I’ve gotta clean it.

Anyway, what amazing box art, seriously awesome stuff, the serial is damn fine too, this particular copy is from I believe 1971, at least that’s what the copyright on the box says.

A new addition to my Commando Cody Collection!

A copy of Radar Men from the Moon on Super-8 (8mm Type S) film.

I’m unsure the year that this was released on Super-8, but Republic pictures has a lot of their serials on this format.

I wish it came with the original box (cover art in last slide), but at least it’s more protected in the tin.

Plants, plants and most importantly, plants.

I like color, don’t get me wrong, but there’s just something special about B&W, maybe it’s because we see so much of life in color through our eyes that B&W is a nice contrast, or perhaps I’m just weird.

I was reading about my beloved water tower today and came across this article, I thought it was interesting and wanted to share.

I’ve always wanted to climb the water tower and take a couple photos of Robbinsdale from above, but alas I’m afraid of heights.

It’s a Radio Systems INC CN-4, I bought it for 25 bucks a couple years ago and I can’t for the life of me find any information on it. No service manual or mention of it anywhere, most I’ve found is an article about a guy installing Radio Systems RS-12s for WJJY up in Brainerd Minnesota, any info would be greatly appreciated.

Edit: I spoke to Catfish Dosch, the current owner of Radio Systems, he looked through their archive and found nothing on the console, so musta been a one off console.
